Hey Loremasters, I'll be needing your help if its ok?

I need all the info I can get about Valenwood (During Oblivion's time), more specificaly:

~Current Military

~Landscape and Architecture

~Citizens of Valenwood

~Any involvement with the other races of Tamriel right now?

~Animals (Not so important)

~What is the capitol/main city of Valenwood?

~The city of Arenthia


Not all of them need answering, but whatever help I can get would be greatly appriciated!

have you checked TIL yet? This seems to be the majority of definitive lore on Valenwood http://www.imperial-library.info/pge3/valenwood.shtml

the http://www.imperial-library.info/pge/aldmeridominion.shtml is a great overview of valenwood. http://www.imperial-library.info/mwbooks/danceinfire.shtml is also quite informative and an entertaining read. neither of those take place in oblivion, but the things they describe are pretty universal. http://www.imperial-library.info/dfbooks/b041_usurper.shtml appears to be the only mention of Arenthia, but it also provides a little tidbit about Valenwood's military. there are a couple other books, but i think this is the wealth of the info. searching "valenwood" on TIL will get you all these results and more.

Not much to speak of - Valenwood's landscape means large orgabized armies aren't an easy proposition. Mostly light infantry and archers, more suited to guerila warfare than open battle

~Landscape and Architecture
Valenwood is mostly tropical jungle. With the Green Pact limiting the use of wood and no native masonry tradition, architecture is limited.

~Citizens of Valenwood

~Any involvement with the other races of Tamriel right now?
They're pat of the Empire, so there's regular trade going. A few roads cross Valenwwod and are maintained by the Empire.

~Animals (Not so important)
Whta you'd find in a tropical jungle

~What is the capitol/main city of Valenwood?
Falinesti - teh whole city is built into a giant tree, and moves around Valenwood (yes, that's not your run-of-the-mill tree)

Falinesti is not the capital any more, now its is eldenroot.
