So which of you would like to officially put up your character for the position of captain of the guard?

I guess I'll put Felix up for it. I'm not really sure what else I'd do with this character.

We'll wait and see who else puts up their character before making a decision, but it's good to see at least one candidate.

Alright I moved my smith to the inn. Any conversation at the forge that happened at day-time will be written as flash-backs. And I hope it's OK that my orc doesn't think the drink is so strong. He is a strong orc who has had a life-long taste of strong drinks after all!

He looks like he'd be friends with the Thalmor, hahaha.

Except I think even they'd find him intolerable.
I think Varlamo may well ally himself with your character a little, in a mutually beneficial relationship of course. The haughty psychopathic Altmer doesn't really do friends. He's soft at heart! (He isn't)

Ha, yeah. Felix will take useful allies where he can get 'em since most people are so put off by his attitude within moments of meeting him.

As I said, Elarian wil be interested if he learns the slot is available. The pays is certainly better than doing the odd mercenary job and it would make a good foorhold to become a thane with holding of his own. He has yet to get a dislike to anyone, but once he does, the possibility to drop the law on whoever he doesn't like if they misbehave would be a nice bonus. Nothing extralegal of course, but things like insult to the Jarl's authority, obstruction of justice and the like are offense he'll be delighted to enforce if the offender happens to be on his list.

I'll put up Tilcedo for Guard Captain. Also, I'll have to do the revenge mission soon for my character. Not really soon, but within the next few weeks. Am I okay to do that?

Vincent, will my character actually think he's become a dog, ie. his viewpoint has suddenly changed etc? Good idea though, it's quite funny really.

I must ask Jonas, how does your character know my character is a vampire?

Yes, he has actually been turned into a dog. The breed is your choice. How quickly he works out what has happened (and how his senses change) is up to you. The spell is only temporary, and he is still able to think -and talk as a human, thus "don't say anything other than 'woof'".

I imagine it's just an illusion and Allard will think perfectly normally, perhaps slightly perturbed by the fact he's a dog. :P

I will get my post up later this [insert timescale].

I'm guessing the eyes would give him away - They may look like normal dunmer eyes to most, but they'd be "off" compared to another dark elf. Especially one trained to hunt down vampires (Though that didn't aid the poor hunter in Immortal Blood, but he seemed rather ignorant of vampires anyway).

But, that's just me guessing.

The cyrodilic vampires are different than others. They are supposed to be master of disguise. (compared to the others). What type of vampire is maximusII?

Compared to others, yes, but it's still possible there are some types of vampire hunters (Such as any that have read Immortal Blood that have learned to identify even the Cyrodiilic clan on sight.

He was bitten in Vvardenfell and really?

Someone who's gone through his entire life unnoticed is suddenly noticed by someone who's not even expecting to see a vampire? And I don't see any reference to JonasVaults' character even having any experience hunting vampires. =/

I'm not going to lie, i'm a little disapointed his cover has been blown so easily and so quickly.

Nice dog post Erasmus, I like it, also the idea that this is just a powerful illusion. Maybe in reality the Altmer is walking about on his hands and and it just seems to everyone involved (himself and Fiona included) that he's a dog. Or maybe he is. Who knows? Don't go peeking up the Witch's robes while you are down there though

Maybe it might be for the best if that reference to immediately guessing that the Dunmer is a Vampire is removed, unless there is an especially good reason for it. If a character is based around being a Vampire that no-one notices, it's not nice to go against that without very good reason. For example, Gavril's post mentioned something smelling off, I think that's the right approach. Fiona likewise would be able to tell something is decidedly wrong with Raryn but wouldn't be able to put her finger on it, without casting the necessary spells, which she probably wouldn't think to do until knowing the Dunmer for a while.
