Jacqueline will have a problem cooperating with other builders with different visions than herself. She is planning on hiring workers that will follow orders without complaints.

"Build a wall around Valton that looks like the one in Falkreth". How many visions of that can you have?

But yeah, I think we'll be just fine with the builders if we make bigger projects for them.

(but who knows, the newest mason might end up disappearing from Valton like 50% of the other players have, meaning there won't be no problem at all.)

By the way I'd like to say sorry if any of my posts on the RP thread has caused upset to people.
Been pretty stressed lately at work and having to build a warhamer army has kept me pretty busy.
So if any of my constructions are a bit inconsiderate to others ideas, please forgive my ignorance.

I'll my best to stay consistent to people's ideals, but sometimes it can be like trying not to tread on eggshells.

While your character sheet is acceptable, you might want to focus on doing something else than building in Valton, since there would be three carpenters in Valton. There simply isn't so much to do if there's three characters doing the same things. Sort of like if the town had three general store merchants, or three book-sellers. Or three fishers. You are welcome to Valton, but... Well... I fear you'll grow tired in Valton if you don't find anything to do, especially in the future.
(Sorry for belated reply...)

I could get involved in the new bandit storyline and change my character quite a bit (retcon him some combat training during his Imperial education). But....:

That's true. For example the "Wall building" project is waaay to big for one builder. But if three builders do it, in addition to some guards helping, it might take an RP-week or something.
Yeah, I was thinking (given he's an architect of the Imperial style- so he wouldn't just be building moar thatch homes) that he could try to introduce some large project; that is, a cathedral (though I suppose we already have a chapel, which is probably enough), a Hall of the Dead (?), some sort of canol, irrigation, or aqueduct to travel out to the farm or outskirts of town, a wall, or a sewer/plumbing system for the town (which is already sort of seen in Whiterun in-game), mill, etc.

Of course, if there's nothing to do, I can simply modify my character (still, I'd probably give him a relatively mundane job- make him some sort of merchant, lumberjack, etc... introduce banking to Skyrim, idk?).

Person from Anticlere also mentioned a few homes getting torn down; if the bandit situation somehow damages the town, bridges, farms, etc., I suppose they will be something to do.

That reminds me of a particular tv drama.. Pillars of the Earth. Maybe the church could commision Jacqueline to build a cathedral?

I do not know if Aguaar is a stormcloak supporter. All I know is that when the guards found him, he was nothing but a mutilated corpse. Thank Akatosh they found them before it got worse. Again I do not know if he has family. If he does then I suspect that they would be in stormcloak territory; most likely in the Rift or Eastmarsh. Now the last time I saw him was outside the inn selling goods to people with a Breton woman helping him. You should check around this part of town. Also if there is any documents They should be in his house obviously."
Am I the only one who is absolutely confused about this particular block of text? It speaks of an Aguaar, whose corpse was mutilated... But then you last saw -him- selling goods to people with a breton woman.. You're obviously speaking of two different persons here "WITYM". I'd change the wording of this post, because as it is now... It just doesn't make any sense. :D

I think he should add 'the last time I saw him alive' to clarify what he means.

It's a different character he's talking about. First he's talking about Aguaar, who got killed. Then he's talking about Alguidar, who is alive. Two different persons.

So I guess I'm not the only one who got confused by the post

Oh. I thought he meant the dead man. That does need a bit of clearing up, then.

Yes it is. By the way, what is Titus supposed to do if he finds Alguidar, which is to say he'll run into them the moment he leaves Hela's Foly. Eavesdrop? Tail him?
If not then I'll watch where he goes, and once making sure he isn't heading to the farm, I'll go there and break in. Is the door locked, and is there anybody in there? Because when Titus enters the farmhouse, I want to know if he'll run into somebody.

EDIT: Just to clarify, you have seen Alguidar, but you don't know his name or where he lives, and you don't want to ask a guard or something because you don't want to draw attention by asking around about him?

Well if you see him, maybe follow him around to see where he lives. As for entering in the house, I don't think anyones there yet. However you can pretty much search the house or do what you want. However I suggest talking to Alguidar's player before searching the farm.

By the way, I'm thinking for my next posts I will say it like as if Danus is telling it. Like a journal. What do you think about that?

I think Leandra's search for Fiona should be stopped by the fact that it's getting late (as in, we'll move to evening). She'll then continue the search the next day. However, before that, there's at least one (or two, if Ergy gets back online soon and posts...) scenes at the Jarl that needs to be finished, as well as a small business thing at the forge. Once those have been dealth with, we'll move to evening. At that point everyone should be finishing their things for the day and prepare for the night.

Mhund moved to evening, but there's still things that other chars need to do before they are ready for evening. We -could- move to evening right away and just finish those things in the evening though, if that's what the majority wants to do.
