Anyway, how are you thinking of dealing with the RP's time frame? Even just a week in the RP would be many months in RL. Maybe just refurnishing an existing building?

Skipping in time, for example a whole week, is possible. However, before we do that it's going to be announced quite early on, for example a whole RP-day before the time-skip.
