Hmmmm. What to do with Jormaw now... as I was going to have him follow Leandra around for awhile, but I guess that idea has become void.
Either I could try and settle accounts with Alguidar & Co. or go into town to find some new events to brew about, maybe with Itan-Ru or the newcomers.
Daroska, the matter isn't up for debate. Rohugh said to cut the crap, so that's what we're going to do. This is Bethesda's forum, and they have their own rules. It's our privilege to be able to post and communicate on the forum as a whole, not our right. It's comparable to this being Todd Howard's house and us being his guests. I doubt you would walk into his house, sit in his recliner, and tell him what you're going to do and not do. It's rude and disrespectful. The forum has rules and the moderators enforce them, it's common courtesy to respect what they have to say and follow it. If you don't want to follow their rules then you don't have to stick around. I suggest not bringing up the matter again before Rohugh finds his way back in here. He's a good moderator and a nice guy, but he doesn't take crap. When he says to do something, it's best to do it and not argue.
I agree that the off-topic crap needs to stop. I come home every afternoon and have to read through at least 3 pages of posts before I'm caught up. It doesn't help when half of it is nonsense that doesn't pertain to the RP.
That being said, I'm more than willing to set up a Valton OOC Skype group, or even a TeamSpeak group were we can chat and not have to worry about cluttering the thread. That should solve the Off topic problem while maintaining the friendly atmosphere.
Asap, the matter is up for debate. Anything is up for a debate as long as someone has a voice. I don't sit idly by and don't bother to try to change things.
Effects are not given to those whom fear much or conjure little. I do things that other people don't like to do. That is just my nature and it won't change.
But no, this isn't a house of Todd Howard's. This is a house of Bethesda as a whole and their fanbase or to those whom deem themselves to come here.
When someone puts enough time or effort into something, in my opinion, they have the right to give their respective response whether they own it or not.
That in itself is greatly similar to a current debate over the ending of the game, Mass Effect 3. Even if it may seem like not or like so, it is to me from my study.
Why? because both topics share the topic of Ownership vs Dedication, Developers vs Fanbase. It's a wide and deep cavernous territory which has terrible bias.
So in my opinion it isn't rude or disrespectful when you walk into Todd Howard's house and say "No thank you, Todd. I would like to have a seat on that chair."
You are giving a view, not letting the big man walk all over you, because if you do- you're just a sheep. A person who complies with everything, a Yes Man.
I respect the rules of this forum as much as I can. However, when rules go against their concept - to work for the people, protecting them as well as help them.
I'd wish to make people know that maybe with a little change to give better adjustment, people could be happier here. And isn't that better for Bethesda as a whole?
If this Rohugh is as good and is as fair as you make him out to be, then I'm sure he'd at least take in this view as to benefit Bethesda, not trying to hurt it.
