Valton: The New Hold, Sign-Up & OOC Thread V

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 9:12 am

Wondering if anyone can offer me some clarifications here, I'm currently having Roymund head towards Valton Farm from the woods around there, Was the bandit attack very far away from that? I'm wondering if i'd come across anything of importance. I know the horse ran past the farm into Valton, but dont remember reading a more specific distance for the attack.

@What is that!; Should you be sending one of your bandits to Valton any time soon, he may come across Roymund around the Farmhouse/road. Would be nice to interact with another humans character for a change instead of falling down hills in the woods

I was imagining it would be in the continuation of the road to the farm. Aguaar left the farm to Riften which would be away from Valton.

Also, the farmer should be heading back to the farm soon, you could also find it empty and wait there if you want.

Spaces between each important information part wouldn't hurt.

Aah, now I can read it better.

That is an almost identical char-sheet as our already existing Thalmor altmer and our non-thalmor altmer. It'd be a lot more welcome to have a Stormcloak-favouring high-figure person visit Valton instead of another altmer who supports the imperials.
Stormcloak supporter in Valton? I guess if that happened Danus would have one interesting moment...

He is :)

Annilka is too btw, although she hasn't introduced that aspect in the RP.

Danus could start investigating their backgrounds, trying to find any links to Stormcloaks.

I meant someone with a high position with the stormcloaks, like Danus has a high position with the imperials. Something to balance the power-play in Valton.

Well judging by the nasty comment your character said to Danus I figured you were. Well I guess Danus may do that.

I just assumed "What is that" was talking about the farmer, I didn't even read what he was quoting.

Either way, there could be some possibilities there worth pursuing.

I do agree on that. It would be interesting for Danus to have some competition.

Well maybe not a stormcloak officer but maybe a stormcloak diplomat. However don't let me change your mind as I am not a GM.

Pretty good though I find it hard that an altmer can be a stormcloak officer. Though that's just me..

His skills are invaluable to the stormcloak cause as they dont have many battlemages?
Plus he has a uniqe understanding of Imperial forts and The way the officer system works?

True but in a diplomatic situation they may feel confy to use a nord instead. After all many nords hate elves. However Do what you want. I'm just stating my opinion.

We already have an altmer who hates the thalmor / empire.
And I also find it hard to believe an altmer would be a stormcloak officer.

yeah, I don't think the stormcloaks would accept an elf in their ranks even if the elf's skills are invaluable to them. they wouldn't care about it :-p, but it matters not to me, so do as you please :P (if the GM's agree.)

Well most stormcloaks I met in skyrim seemed to be "If you don't listen to me I will bash your face in" so if they sent that to the new jarl would it work.

By being a stormcloak officer? The officers are the ones leading the rebellion, the most aggressive bunch of all stormcloaks. Currently, your characters story and situation don't make much sense to me.

That fits in well in this RP. Post a complete character sheet with a fitting skill-listing and I'll update the original post.

@What is that!: Could send him up that way shortly, but not on my immediate "To do" list.

@Smig: Try not to be alarmed if you return home to find a sleeping imperial using your doormat as a blanket when you return home ;)
