Ooo, Daikanos could have gotten some good info if he had asked about the hunters in the hillside. Oh well, too late now :P :)

good info? please tell me what I missed on. he just figured that since they left her alone they weren't any threat since bandits would certainly attack lonely female travellers (in my opinion.)

but since they'll check it out tomorrow, you can always tell me what that info was and I can use it and that way if she would talk about it in the inn or something it'll match. and I don't feel like coming up with something by myself. (my lazy part speaking here. )

Guys, the unexpected has happened...Jonas Vault is back, Gavril's character isn't stuck in his house anymore. :)
BTW if he wasn't anymore anyways I may have missed the post as I'm on mobile. When will the next day start :(

We'll move to night-time soon, unless anyone had something they need to do before evening? You have about 9-10 hours left to post and say you aren't ready for the night, otherwise I expect your characters do finish their days and go to sleep. :)

One thing about that huge cost of the project Jonas Vault and Gavril are doing.. I think it simply costs too much. And that your character has too much gold with him as well, you could practically buy all of Valton with 35 000 gold.. Make it a maximum of 15 000 gold.. preferably 10 000 if you can. Adjust the prices accordingly, maybe even cut a few of them away completely and buy them later.
Of course, this is just a small detail about the pricing and ownership of gold. Do as you want though. :)

we are planning on being poor bastards after that, apart from owning the greatest brewery in Skyrim (to bad for the blackbriars.) anyway, I have no idea how much a brewery costs so the prices are for Jonas to decide.

also, I'm ready for the night as soon as Danus and Julius told their story. I'll get a post in somewhere today. sorry, I was kind of bussy. :(

I'm going to roughly estimate that it'd cost them around sixteen thousand, three hundred and ninety seven gold to open up this project.
That's going off a unreliable transfer of the costs of a Micro-Brewery in the current US (USD), to GBD then divided by a certain amount.

My opinion is that the two should get robbed by local bandits, then go to ask for a loan from the Jarl's treasury in accordance to the lack of guard patrols.
By the way Jormaw won't be awake untill the morning. Well unless of course a dragon comes out from beneath his house and burns down the whole town.

Not to be OP or something, but the local bandits would be in a hell of a trouble when they would try to rob them

Just a thought about the brewery. As with anything that needs to be built, it will never be built in one RP, so the cost may be a moot point. You could go ahead with it anyway and maybe one day we could close this RP thread and make a "Chapter II" kind of thing, where we skip time, new things would be built and characters would be in a different stage. Or, the Jarl could veto the project because there's already a house that could be used as a brewery in the hold, that they could buy.

Just something to think about.

I would prefer a time skip, as my character is still stuck in Morrowind, as I can't come up with any logical way of having him come back. :(

I'd prefer the Jarl vetoing the project so they use an empty house instead of building a new one.

As for skipping in time... Nah, not worth it. The small things we can do each day is what the RP is about. It's not like out characters will build a city the size of the imperial city and declare themselves the kings of tamriel

How's the in-game Valton looking btw? :)

Worse than that, you went to get workers to build your house so you'll have the same problem I did with the farm and and anyone that's building something. Maybe the best thing would be to make something happen along the way that would make him return to Valton and buy a house, instead of going all the way to Morrowind to get the workers. Otherwise you're going to be out for a while...

Morrowind is quite close to riften. The way from the closest border of morrowind all the way to riften is about as long as the way from Valton to riften. So it shouldn't take more than half a day to travel back to Valton. :D

I've been doing small things here and there but it's been on standby for a while. I've been waiting for Vincent to come back to get more feedback. I sent him some details but it seems the feature to add more people to a conversation is disabled so I took the liberty of creating a thread in the mods section to track the progress and get ideas: http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1358757-wip-valton-the-new-hold/

I was thinking that, if we'd finish this and there's actual content, it may be fun for anyone, even outside the RP. Anyone could install it from Steam and be introduced to this RP (or RPing in general, expanding the community)

As for being ready for morning, as long as everything that needs to be done and is in progress is finished we can make it morning. I'd prefer if we waited so we get the captured bandit scene a bit further, at least so we get Danus and the captain of the guard to finish theirt conversation. I hope that's ok for everyone?

Well let Danus go to sleep and experience his "Nightmare" Vision again and then we can set it to morning.
