I think we have access to Water Transport, since we're downstream from Riften.

I hate it when I don't know what I want to do, and with Elena's post being Not Provided, I'm stuck at the hotsprings... Does Tsavani chase down the witch and demand to know what she's doing with the corpse, go to the Inn and dry off (And get the REST of the town's attention?), dry herself off with Flames, or go visit the Orc and discuss flaying and turning the cat into a pelt?
Well technically your character shouldn't speak to the Orc about the cats pelt. The tanner needs to do his work on it first. Then Gorbad Yak-Bogadbu would be able to turn into a high quality leather armor that still has all the beauty of the saber cats fur on it.

I believe it is pretty much a rp about our character daily lifes without the gm controlling a certain plot. We create our own objectives and stuff and try to complete them. So mutliple things could be happening at the same time.

every once in a while we could get attacked by bandits or something and this could be controled by Wizard Lizard though.

Yah but I reckon we still need GM posts if only to do something simple as setting the time ie morning/night etc and moving the days along. I remember one RP I played where the GM just gave us a map and some rules. By 300 posts, we were all basically writing our own novels with no relationship to each other in terms of time/space.
Yeah we definitely need to have some kind of control over the time.

Why yes, that's something I didn't even think about.

Edit: Why is 70% of the character sheets empty in the original post?

Some presence from the Jarl wouldn't go amiss either. On the other hand, the current power vacuum created by his absence gives the Town Witch oodles of authority to abuse, so it's not all bad.

@Vincent McCool: That last post you just made with the talking crow was incredibly enjoyable to read. Very nice.

Thanks man. Bird politics are surprisingly fun to write. If anyone is interestedhttp://www.gamesas.com/topic/1336264-thee-hart-othee-wydd/ (fiction designed to fit seamlessly with the lore and compliment it) on the Lore Forums written by our very own Fiona Barrow-Heart. I'm starting to get into this whole pagany, witchy business.

By the way, what's the best way to send a letter in Skyrim, do you guys reckon? Jal needs to send requests for supplies but I'm not sure how to send a letter? Carrier-pigeon maybe?

Perhaps we should start a new thread soon.

Anyways, I'm curious as to who of you have created their character in Skyrim, or oblivion, or morrowind? I just started my Orc blacksmith and he looks surprisingly much like I had imagined him. Hair-cut could use a little shortening, but I picked the one closest and it's ok. He looks old too. And I've got to say, orc boots and gauntlets + blacksmiths apron doesn't look too shabby at all.

@Jagen: Never heard of pigeons being used in Skyrim, so a courier would be best.

I guess the Jarl might keep a courier in his hall, or there might be one hanging around the stables we apparently have? Fiona could probably arrange something with pigeons too if you asked her nicely, but it would rely rather on the good will of the bird in question and payment would be expected in worms :P

@Gorbad
I tried, but couldn't pull it off. There simply isn't the hair in Skyrim for Fiona's huge tangly mess. We'll have to wait for mods for that. I got her height right by having her be a Breton with set scale up to 1.1 though!

We have a lot of NPCs around in the RP. Anyone of those can work as a courier. Or, of course, the witch's pets :D

It's a pitty there's not enough hair-cuts in Skyrim. We should be able to change the hair in the same way we change our face. That'd be something.

Sorry for the absence, I was visiting my brother most of the day. I think our mine would be better off if it was full of corundum and orichalcum. I need to check this, but I believe that they're common in the area. Really though, any ore is fine as long as you don't go crazy and have ridiculous amounts of ebony, but a little is fine.

I like the sound of it. I was thinking only one or two ebony veins. Perhaps at the very bottom, where whatever monster/bandit/Falmer/Charus/Spider resides in. But as Corundhum......I'm not to sure. I've never really liked, and it ain't to useful unless you have some iron. Then you can smelt into steel. I think traders would be more interested in Iron and Orichalcum. But I ain't a expert on the geology of the Rift.

You know, I had chacrter planned to be a courier. Made him last night in Skyrim to get the image in my head. He could deliever the whatever you need. Course, have to get his charcter sheet on paper first. I was also thinking he could do some Skooma deleviery for Clayton's gang. Then again, I'm not sure if Lizard Wizard would be alright if I made a second charcter

btw, my character is stuck in time right now. I can't really add anything before the conversation with the miner is over, unless someone walks up to me and starts talking to me before the miner has a chance to reply. But i'd rather wait for the reply.

Give it anyway - Time dialates in these conversations anyway :P

I doubt he'd actuallly try to follow them - He'd be an idiot to see them as anything other than cheek.
