Danus Maximus. Valton. Evening.

As Danus and Julius followed the guard to the barracks he wondered what will happened next.(Hopefully the Jarl will understand my actions.) He thought.

Rolaf. Valton. Evening.

Rolaf began to regret his actions. His true identity might be revealed.men. "Well kinsmen. Why are you favoring a damn elf and imperial. You know that they don't belong to skyrim. release me as we cannot let these outsiders exploit us." He said desperately trying to find a way to avoid the dungeons.

Roymund Inventius, Valton Farm. Evening.

Roymund watched as the guard captain stepped into the house, he appeared to be briefly inspecting the room. After a few moments, the Dunmer replied to his question

“Yes, you can. Are you the owner of the farm? Have you seen strange things this midday on the road? A large group of people? A wounded horse? Strange behaviour? Anything that could point towards bandits?”

Roymund let out a tired sigh, his features showed him obvious to have just woken and was still showing signs of dozyness.

"Err, Not the owner, no but i'm a friend of his. He should be out on the farm now, told us he was going to check the animals before bed." his eye flicked briefly amongst the guard, half-expecting a facial expressive to show they was bearing sad news, then back to the Captain. "Havent seen anything out of the norm', though Alguidar told me of the injured horse making it's way to town. You'd have to ask him for anymore."

From a far corner of the room, Roymund heard Jacqueline speak "Oy, who's this giant Ash Elf 'ere*?" She asked with a groggy voice. "What's goin' on?"

Roymund looked blankly at the Captain for a moment, before stepping aside and turning to face her.

Graymane, leaving Shimmermist mine

On the way back Elarian thought about how the Chaurus had made is way down in the mine. From his admittedly limited knowledge of Skyrim's fauna, they were found only deep underground and didn't venture outside. 'I may have an explanation on how that thing found it's way into the mine : it must have used a small crack before it had grown, from a natural cave or something of the sort. When it grew up it was stuck in here.' He looked at Nellis 'Which mean that if you happen to find a natural gallery you'd better stop digging in that direction before you make an entry hole big enough for those things. And if we decide we should enlarge the hole to survey what's behind, we'd better first build some defenses – things like a strong door with side passages for murder holes and arrow slits. Maybe prepare a cave-in in case we want the way closed for good. I've killed that thing fast, but only because it was alone. I burned through most of my magic and I had my sword stuck deep to do it. If there had been two, I would have been down to a dagger, at least until I could get enough magic back. Rather than what I did, I would have to use magic to distract and confuse them and dance around a lot, it would be neither quick nor easy.'

Soon they were back in Valton to explain what had been found and what should be done. Elarian added is own opinion, in particular his suggestion that if a natural gallery was ever to be found, it should secured or closed for good, but definitively not made accessible and explored immediately. The bottom should be as secured as the entry. After having his gold, he added 'If you need some advice on the design of fortifications, I have no problem with leasing my experience. I'm not an engineer by trade, but I have enough experience defending or attacking fortifications to know what works;'

then he left with the rest, heading for his home. He planned to have a meal a the inn, even if the drinks still left to be desired. But first he could get out of his armor, taking eh time to clean and oil it before using his bath. The warm water made wonder for the aches borne of exertion, even if he had managed to avoid being hit. While relaxing in the warm water, Elarian focused his mind on his magic, chanting a prayer-like array of spells, delving into the power of restoration magic to clear his body of toxins, diseases, wounds and fatigue. It couldn't cure age, but after decades of refining his spells and tayloring them to his need it came close. While still a far cry from the Telvani rituals that enabled some of the mage-lords to watch centuries and even millennia move past them, it was the sort of magic which permitted the dunmer nobility and great merchants to be live and kicking while pushing four or five centuries.

Jarl Radwulf Spurvhauke, Gudslott Hall, Evening

The dunmer calling himself Elarian came with some interesting ideas. Radwulf figured he'd easily be able to afford four guards staying at the mine, two at the bottom and two at the entrance. He might even be able to afford to put six guards there, with a continously shifting guards that kept the road between Valton and Shimmermist mine safe as well. Around half-way through the discussion he saw a newcomer enter, an argonian. A rare sight in Skyrim and especially in Valton. Once the mine party had gone the argonian introduced himself,
__________________________
"Milord Jarl, my name is Jormaw, humble son of the kingdom of Argonia, I wish to make residence in your hold. Hopefully to your benefit, if you'll have me."
"If you have need for staple supplies of fish, alchemical ingredients or any jobs of the aquatic kind; I can definitely provide."
__________________________
The Jarl was happy about the mine being cleared and it only got better when he heard the argonian was a fisher.
"Welcome to Valton Jormaw. There's not a single fisherman in entire Valton as of now, so you'll have a pretty easy time finding customers to sell it to. The cook here in Gudslott could need a dozen fresh fishes every day, but I'm sure others would be delighted to buy some as well." The Jarl paused for a moment before saying with a welcoming smile, "Have you thought of staying in Valton for good? There's houses for sale here for only a thousand gold if you're interest."

Jormaw, Gudslott Hall, Evening.

The argonian was surprised by the Jarl's bright greeting, responding in a similar manner "Many pleasures to you for your warm welcome, Land-Strider."
He put his finger to what could be distinguished as his lower labial scales, but it was merely to mimic human behaviour for the benefit of his conversing partner.

Jormaw sneered "I'll purchase a cabin by the town's river, if you have one. For convenience's sake," he continued "Take this. A thousand and two hundred gold."
"A hundred for any inconvenience that my presence brings, the other hundred for the Jarl's pleasant company. Thousand for the closest house to the river."

The lizard shuffled his feet across the stiff floor, screwing his eyelids together and posing his head left to investigate the lavish surroundings he was in.
Before the Jarl could respond to his earlier repartee, he erupted a series of queries to the jarl: "So where might I find this cook of yours? and where
would one find the local ranger, blacksmith, as well as the general store? excuse my ignorance, I'm new to the region." The argonian expressed a grin.

Jarl Radwulf Spurvhauke, Gudslott Hall, Evening

The argonian answered politely and offered one thousand and two hundred gold for the house closest to the river. The Jarl was unsure which house was closest to the river, neither did he know if it was already bought by someone. He vaguely recalled the farm being closest to the river; however of this he was unsure. The writer had come back from his errand just in time to answer the Jarls question. He looked puzzled as well for a second, but answered that there was indeed a one flat, small house quite close to the river. He admitted that the farm-house was indeed closer still, but not with more than a hundred or two hundred feet at most.

This had the Jarl thinking again. It wasn't worth a thousand gold. So the Jarl offered the house for 700 gold instead.
"Since it's a single-flat house, I'll sell it for seven hundred gold." He added with a slightly lower tone to point out this wasn't a bargain. "No more than that." He added with a smile. He turned to the writer and told him to tell the cook to expect an argonian down in the kitchen at some point during the next hours, or day. He took a more comfortable position on the throne. Was he imagining things or was it becoming harder and more uncomfortable to sit all the time?
"I'm afraid I cannot point you to left or right with finding a ranger, but you can't miss the general store and forge. They are just opposite to each other on the main path. I'm surprised you didn't see them on your way up here." He went back to the house buying business and added, "So, the house. You take it or not?" There was no haste in his voice, no impatience.

Daikanos, Alguidar’s farm, early evening.

The imperial knew nothing more than that an injured horse had passed earlier today and nothing he said helped the investigation in anyway. He turned to the guards and pointed at two of them. “You and you, go and find this Alguidar and bring him here.”

When the guards left the house, the woman woke up. "Oy, who's this giant Ash Elf 'ere*?" She asked with a groggy voice. "What's goin' on?"

Daikanos turned towards the woman. “Fine, you’r awake. Spares me the troubles of waking you up. Have you seen anything out of the ordinary on the road from Riften to Valton? Around midday?”

Haleth & Ulfdor, barracks.

Luckily the people had joined them without much trouble and it didn’t take long until they reached the barracks. Haleth asked the imperials and altmer to wait there until the captain was ready to speak to them, while Ulfdor went to put the nord behind bars for the time being.

When Haleth went to the captain’s chambers, higher in the keep, to tell him about the assault he found out the Dunmer hadn’t returned yet. A little bit uneasy about the situation he returned to the waiting men. “It appears the captain hasn’t returned yet. I’m sorry for the inconvenience, perhaps it is easiest if you come by tomorrow to have your statements written down and to accuse the man? I’ll warn the captain to expect you.” He faked an apology.

Infact he just wasn’t a big fan of outsiders in Skyrim and since he was supposed to stay up for a couple more hours for his shift he figured he could have them do the same too. “Or maybe you can wait here, i’m sure he’ll be back soon.”

Jacqueline, Valton Farm, Evening.

"No, I ain't seen anythin' on tha road today. Only life I've been seein' today's been this gent 'ere", she nodded towards Roymund, "Alguidar, 'n those funny lookin' hunters in tha hillside." Jacqueline yawned. She didn't bother getting up. The Dunmer didn't really interest her and she really wanted to get back to sleep.

Jormaw, Gudslott Hall, Evening.

Jormaw was approving of the man's patience. Most humans he encoutered were brash and would act with haste, being only true to their lifespan.
He briefed out a retort "Ssh yes, I'll take the small place for seven hundred gold." Unbuttoning his sling satchel, he lifted out a hefty coin purse.
From that he proceeded to count the coins needed, flicking the right amount into his left claw, one at a time; before putting the purse away
and grasping some leather material, which he knotted the gold in with some string. He presented the newly made purse to the Jarl in a single flourish.

With this he prompted notice to Radwulf's dignified errand boy, his writer. Giving an auspicious gaze over to the man who had been acting rather
mysteriously since he had arrived. The argonian could become paranoid with anyone glancing in his general direction without due provocation.

Jormaw felt this feeling had to do with his last contract not being finished and walking off with a cyrodillic patron's payed in advance coin.

Jarl Radwulf Spurvhauke, Gudslott Hall, Evening

The Jarl figured that the people of Valton should start keeping their money in bags of 50 or 100 gold and carry many bags with them, instead of one large bag. His thoughts were interupted by the argonian's voice. The Jarl nodded in agreement and understanding and took the bag of money in his hands and put it in a chest next to his throne.
"Well I guess there's no point keeping you here anymore. No need to bother the cook unless it's with a bag of fish either, the man's quite busy." he added in a formal good-bye greeting, "Welcome to Valton. You may show yourself out."

Alguidar, Valton Farm, Evening

Cleaning the barn seemed like a titanic job, Alguidar tried to focus on one little thing at a time to get something done. Not much time passed though, until he heard undistinctive noises at a distance. Horses, voices, he couldn't tell for sure. He rushed to a window and peeked outside. There were guards around his house, more than usual on a mere patrol, this was something else. He was reminded of Aguaar. "Did they find him?" he hopefully wondered.

With his hands still dirty, he came running out of the barn in the direction of his house butting heads with two guards that were coming out the doorway. The noise of the clash, between the Nord and the two armored guards, drawn everyone's attention to him.

"Hey! Watch it!" he said as he threw his hands to his forehead. "This is my farm, what's going on here?"

"Your farm? You must be Alguidar, the captain of the guard wants to speak with you." Said the guard as he readjusted his helmet and nodded to an Elf. Alguidar recognized the Elf from Annika's backyard, he was dressed casually and had left to find out what happened to Aguaar's carriage.

"Aguaar! Have you found him?" asked Alguidar looking at the Elf.

"No, I ain't seen anythin' on tha road today. Only life I've been seein' today's been this gent 'ere", she nodded towards Roymund, "Alguidar, 'n those funny lookin' hunters in tha hillside." Jacqueline yawned. She didn't bother getting up. And Daikanos couldn’t care less about it.

“hmpff. Will search the hillside tomorrow to see if we can find anything.” He said. When he turned around to go back to his horse he heard a man shout at another one when they walked into each other.

"Hey! Watch it. This is my farm, what's going on here?"

"Your farm? You must be Alguidar, the captain of the guard wants to speak with you." Said the guard as he readjusted his helmet and nodded to Daikanos.

"Aguaar! Have you found him?" asked Alguidar looking at Daikanos.

Daikanos saw the man recognized him but the man’s face didn’t immediatly ring a bell until he mentioned Aguaar. Ah yes I met him earlier today. The horse was his friend’s. He stepped to the man. “Yes, we found him further on the road.” He started.

He walked towards the door and moved his men out of the farm. With a simple movement of his arm the men jumped on their horses and readied themselves to continue the journey home. Daikanos turned to the man. “He’s dead. His body lays on the cart. You can bury him yourself or the guard can get him a proper burial.” He waited until Alguidar had decided what he’d do.

“He’s dead. His body lays on the cart. You can bury him yourself or the guard can get him a proper burial.”

Alguidar, Valton Farm, Evening

These words, so casually spoken by the Elf, sent chills down the farmer's spine. He expected that much, but he hoped for the best. The only man he'd talk with, for days, before arriving, was now gone. Just like that.

Alguidar began to second guess himself. Maybe coming to Valton wasn't a good idea after all. Maybe it's more dangerous than he thought. The price on the farm, the fertile land, all too good to be true, but at what cost? Maybe this was a sign. Maybe he had bitten the bait and dropped all his gold on the place where he was going to die a horrible death.

"May Talos watch over us all." Whispered the farmer as he looked down to the ground. He did his best to contain his feelings, especially with an Elf watching.

His eyes locked on the Captain of the Guard, as he remembered the question he asked.

"Aguaar would want his body sent to Riften. He has a son there. Probably waiting for him. He should bury him. Get closure." Said Alguidar before making a small pause, as he started worrying about his own safety. "And you, Elf. You're away from home and the guards are calling you Captain. Can you really defend us? I only arrived today and you're already carrying the corpse of a friend. I don't know what's going on but I demand more patrols around my farm. We're defenseless here! Whatever hit Aguaar down the road, could hit the farm any minute now!"

Jacqueline, Valton Farm, Late evening. (posting from my phone. Pardon any spelling errors. They are a pain in the butt to edit :P )

Jacqueline soon realised that she did not like this cold hearted elf. The dead were to be treated with respect and this man treated them as a sack of rotten potatoes.
When he stepped out of the house she got out of bed and exited the farmhouse. She went to the back and began rummaging through her cart. She pulled out the biggest carving knife she had, a hammer and some rope. She went back to the house and laid the items next to her bedroll. If anyone decided to attack she wouldn't go down without a fight.

I’ve seen snails with more spine than this Nord. Daikanos thought as he heard the nord ask for more patrols. In my youth any Nord whose friend had been killed by bandits would have already gathered some other friends, picked up weapons and went after the bandits by themselves. And this one only pisses in his pants and hides behind the guards’ legs. Pathetic, what happened to this race. He kept staring in the nords eyes, not planning to look away.

“The body will be returned tomorrow. And about that other question, ...” Daikanos started to respond to the Nord. “I have been appointed captain this morning so I was going through a lot of paperwork and to how the guard was running itself this midday. I’ll higher the amount of patrols on the roads.”

He jumped on his horse and turned to the road. The guards followed together with the cart and they continued their way to Valton.

~ ~ ~

Daikanos, Valton, Evening

They stocked the cart with the body away in a enclosed place until he would send guards with the cart to riften. Daikanos went to his quarters while the guards made their way to the barracks. When he entered the keep his was greeted by a Nord guard.

“Haleth’s the name. I have two people that want to press charges on a Nord for assault and destruction of property. Can I send them up?” Haleth said.

Daikanos nodded. “Give me a minute to refresh.”

The guard nodded and walked to the barracks to get the men, while Daikanos continued to his quarters. When he got there he filled a large bowl with water and took his tunic out. The purple and blue daedric and old dunmeric runes were reflected in the water. He started refreshing himself while he waited for the guard to return.

Haleth, Barracks, evening.

He returned to the barracks and went straight to look for the imperials and altmer. It looked like they decided to stay and wait. Let’s keep them here some longer. He thought with a smile. I hope the captain gives them a night in steel for beating up the Nord.

“The captain is back. Follow me.”

Roymund Inventius, Valton Farm. Evening.

Roymund kept back from the scene, he could feel the emotion in the room and felt it unwise to get involved as he knew nothing/little of those involved.
He saw Jacqueline leave the farmhouse, and return moments later with an assortment of weapons, shifting his gaze to Alguidar he could tell the news had shattered the Nord.

"Perhaps you should head to bed, Friend." he attempted to put on a comforting face "The rest'll do you good,and you can take a look at this from a new light in the 'morrow."

He move to his pack, bringing out a small quiver of arrows from inside and took up his bow from beside the door. He sat down, propping both these items up against his chair "We'll keep an eye on the farm for you tonight, Least we can do." he looked across to the Breton, hoping she'll be able to help convince the Nord.

Danus Maximus. Guard Barracks. Evening,

As Danus was waiting patiently in the barracks the same guard that brought him and the altmer there came and told him the guard captain is ready. As the Imperial and Altmer follow the guard to the captain's quarters, he saw the dunmer sitting in the chair. The same one back at the raid scene. (This will not go well....) Danus thought.

"Well hello there. As the guard may have told you A nord came and attacked and destroyed the property of my friend here. It happened when I got to the tavern. The same Nord was drunk. Even more than me at the time. He disrespected a woman and I could not stand that. I told him to stop, he refused and disrespected me and my kind. I again could not take that. Now he then hit me, So I defended myself. After a few minutes in a brawl the altmer next to me broke it up.After the fight I left the inn and after a walk to my quarters I heard a cry for guards. Me and my men rushed to his house, restrained the Nord, and you probably know the rest."

If what happened at the raid scene told him anything, it's that the Dunmer will not be so "kind" about this.

Jormaw, Valton, Early Evening.

After making acquaintances with the formal, if shrewd Spurvhauke, Jormaw made his way to the inn for a mug of Honningbrew mead;
before heading to the general store to acquire a few spider silk fishing nets, some wood, a number of hooks, a crate and alchemical ingredients.
He took a step out of the door with his sack of items as well as his crate in his hand, stumbling down the main road to his recently bought shack.

~~~~
Jormaw, Jormaw's Shack, Late Evening.
He peered into his new home- it was dark, dank and musky. The decoration was bare to the extreme: only two chairs, a cut table, a bed; one wardrobe,
two dressers, some shelves and a large firepit could be occupied in the space made in the circular yurt looking building. A small hole was made at the
exterior roof to allow for smoke made to escape. The argonian dropped his sack to check for a loft hatch, only to find a sliding roof door that closed the gap.
Jormaw looked around, thinking about the 'apartment's' odd shape compared to the rest of the town's buildings. "Shsh.. peculiar."
He gently lifted off a loose floorboard and scrounged through the hay bedding, which is used for interior heat. Kneading to the
bottom of the foundations, he found thin dirt to be in reach of his claw, with a bit of engraved stonework near the doorway's panel.
Reckoning the house was built on top of some kind of large grave to an ancient nord, he left it alone. Only now returning to unpacking.
From his satchel he took out a number of crafting materials which he placed in the drawer nearest to his bed. Unfolding as well a heap of cloth
which contained a vast amount of stones he had collected along his travels. These were positioned upon the top of the aforementioned dresser.
The last of his items were an extra pair of clothing, neatly squeezed into his satchel and some feathered embroidery sunken into his garments.
He placed the former into the wardrobe, where as the latter was hung from the beams of the house. For mysteriously decorative purposes mainly.
The argonian placed some spare wood in the firepit and lighted it. He gave thanks to the Hist's whisper before giving into a deeply relaxing slumber.
Sargon Hlaalu, Nuramons's House, Valton Hold, Midday
Good things had happened that morning, Sargon had begun to found a dream in his new home and had a good friend from the past, right here to help him along the way. Sargon had asked Nuramon the cost of building the brewery. "Around 5,000 for the distillery equipment and 2,000 for wares, tables and such . The foundation alone being 10,000. All inside decoration and mold-work will be about 4,000"
Sargon sighed, and took a breath from his pipe, "As far as furnishings go, around... 6,000!" The smile on Sargons' ashen old face, stretched from ear to ear. He feared the overwhelming cost of 27,000 septims, plus tax and perhaps a few other expenses, would nearly scare his old friend to death.
Sargon raised a hand and got up from his wooden chair, creaking as it did, with his fine robes falling softly to the floor. "Don't worry old friend, I wouldn't have come all this way unprepared," Sargon's voice hushed, and he laid a hand on his friends' shoulder, grinning slyly, "In my carriage sits 35,000 septims worth of gold, artifacts, and things that will make us rich and happy."
Sargon removed his hand and put it forth between himself and Nuramon, taking a step back as he did. The he spoke, his words strong in his accent of Dunmeri tone of hope and of peaceful life.
"My friend, with all this, we'll have the best damn retirement a man could want. Building a place of drink and merriment, a bar must be built along the way, no?! Nuramon, shake my hand, and I promise we old friends, brothers, should have the greatest of all resting places; after all of the things we have done, alone and together."
Sargon awaited the shaking of hands, and the beginning of a great new life!
OOC: whew, I'm tired. Post wanted too detailed or anything. Just wanted to add a nice moment to the beginning of an awesome idea. I love meaderies!
Gorbad Yak-Bogadbu, his house at his forge, night-time.
It felt good to sit by the warm fire in his house. Unfortunately, there wasn't much to do or to look at. He reminded himself to find some books, perhaps buy a few bottles of wine. Not something you'd expect an orc to keep in his house, but then again Gorbad wasn't just like any orc. He prefered to use his brain and talented hands instead of raw, animal strength. Not that he didn't have that too, mind you. Gorbad walked up to a small chest and opened it. It was his collection of small pieces of ore found in tamriel. There was everything from iron to glass to ebony. He wasn't going to add the Chaurus chitin in this collection, since it wasn't actually ore. His thoughts ventured back to the chitin. It had cracked farely easy under the strength of his iron mace. Which meant it wasn't as strong as he'd expected.
Gorbad rolled a flat, curved piece of the chitin in his hand, as big as the head of an axe. He inspected every angle of it, gave it gentle strikes with his fists and tried to bend it. it was barely normal room warmth, yet he managed to bend the chitin. He figured it was probably quite close to leather, but incredibly strong. He had roughly enough chitin to make a chest armor and leg armor. Perhaps boots as well, if he added in regular iron or leather as well. Yes, it could make for a stylish outfit. A black light armor with a very subtle hint of dark, dark blue. He could make it more comfortable to wear with regualr leather on the inside as well, which would also make it protect the user more. He wondered how much he could ask for such an armor. It would be unique, that was certain. However, it's actual usefulness would be only a bit better than regular leather. Slightly worse than iron, but light. Perhaps 500 gold for boots, legs and chest armor would be a good price. He might be able to sell it for 700 or 800 if he haggled with the fact that it was unique.
At this time he shouldn't feel as tired as he did. But the exploration of Shimmermist mine had drained his strength. It didn't take more than a few heartbeats before he was asleep.
Alguidar, Valton Farm, Night
As quickly and unexpectedly as it arrived, the convoy departed, with promises of more patrols around the farm. The farm was isolated and the one with power, voicing promises and excuses, was an Elf. Not very reassuring for the separatist Nord.
He watched the carriage where Aguaar lied as it disappeared in the distance. He played back some of their moments together from the past few days when his thoughts were interrupted by the hunter's voice:
"Perhaps you should head to bed, Friend. The rest'll do you good,and you can take a look at this from a new light in the 'morrow. We'll keep an eye on the farm for you tonight, Least we can do."
Alguidar had already forgotten he wasn't alone. This gave him some comfort, he was used to the feeling of safety of a full house before his brothers started leaving his old farm. Having to spend the nights alone in the middle of the woods wasn't an idea he looked forward to. Alguidar figured that the hunter had sharp senses and skill with the bow. As for the Breton, in spite of her small frame, she had already assembled everything that she could use as a weapon by her bedroll. "At least we won't go down without a fight" he thought.
"Yes." Answered Alguidar to the hunter. "I hope the night passes quickly."
Alguidar took the hint and brought his woodcutting axe near his bed. This reminded him of how he used it earlier today. "Oh and... um... sorry about the axe thing earlier." He said with a smile to the hunter.
Julius Scipion, Valton, Night-time
Julius let himself be led to the captain’s office he watched Danus speak up about what happened before in turn speaking “yes I was attacked in my own home I defended myself but to refrain from harming him any further or before my old soldier instincts kicked in I called for some guards”.
He coughed before carrying on“ twice I called until Danus here arrived with his men and then the events leading into here can be told by the guard who brought me here I am willing to pay for damages and will spend the night in the cell if ordered” he looked to the captain.
Nuramon, his house, midday
When sargon had counted the totale cost to build the brewery Nuramon couldn’t help but to gulp and look at his friend with unbelieve. But he quickly recovered from the shock. Nuramon pulled forth his own pipe, and with a small flame, put it on.
When he took a long drag he started recounting his own riches he still had left. Lost in thought he failed to hear most of what Sargon had to say but when Sargon mentioned that they should need a bar alongside it Nuramon smiled. “We have the inn, which can serve as a bar. If we sell to him we would spare the costs of building the bar.”
“We will be poor bastards after this, you do know that?” he took his friend’s hand and shook it. “I insist we split the costs equal.” He said with smile.
Daikanos, night-time, his chambers.
He was drying himself with a clean towel when he heard knocks on the door. “enter!” he yelled to the person standing at the door. It went open and in came four imperials and an altmer. Daikanos tossed the towel next to the large bowl of water and without caring to put on a shirt or tunic turned towards the visitors. The tought didn’t occur to him that they micht be put off or scared by his daedric and old dunmeric tatoos.
He imediatly recognized the Imperial and his bodyguards. Not him again. He moaned in his head. Seeing the man immediatly placed him in a bad mood. He took place at his table and took some paper and a quill. “get on with it. it’s late and I want to go to bed.” He said in a grumpy tone.
After he had noted their stories of the events of that evening Daikanos nodded. “thank you for your cooperation. I’ll question the nord tomorrow. If what you say is true than I’m sure you won’t have to pay for any damages.” He said to the altmer.
When they stood up to leave Daikanos waited until they had all exept for the imperial left the room. With a quick gesture of his hand his door closed before the man. Daikanos stood up and walked towards him.
“I hope you didn’t let your bodyguards use him as a puching bag because of frustrations given to you by the jarl, since he won’t have you place troops in Valton.” He said. “Diplomat or not, I’m seeing your face way to often. Try to stay out of trouble or I’ll start seeing you as trouble. Now leave.”
Daikanos opened the door and without giving the imperial a chance to reply pushed him out of his chambers. He quickly closed the door and used a spell to lock it. Without wasting another second he jumped in his bed and closed his eyes for another sleepless night.
Danus Maximus. Outside the Barracks. Night time.
Danus is once again is pissed at the Dunmer. He helped a citizen and maybe saved his life with a break in and he get's accused of beating the Nord? As the Imperial and Altmer stepped outside of the barracks he told his friend Jullius.
"So didn't you mentioned about building a fort on the border before the guards came? I think we should talk more about this before we part ways."
Rolaf. The dungeons. Night time.
Rolaf knows his cover is going to be blown now. He needs to escape before he get's interrogted. However if he returns and tells Wolfgar about him being arrested he will surely get the same treatment as the wood elf that didn't killed the horse. The Nord checks his pockets and notices there is still a lockpick in his possession. (Maybe this could be the key to my freedom) he thought. However he is too tired to go on. He rest his eyes. (Tomorrow I will escape)
