An ambitious project began in the Rift several months ago: a new settlement sprung up alongside a river, between Ivarstead and Riften. Enough land was purchased for the new settlement, Valton, to be recognized as a new, separate hold, and the man who had purchased the land, Radwulf Spurvhauke, was given the title of Jarl. Valton is still growing, with the castle, Gudslott Keep, being erected first, and then several smaller buildings were built around it, though most of them are currently empty. In an attempt to attract as many citizens as possible to the new hold, Jarl Spurvhauke has set an extremely low price on these homes: a mere 1,000 golden septims, and settlers have been coming in from all over in a hope of a better life or a chance at making some coin, and as a new settlement, there is plenty of opportunity to do so.

Current events:
- Daedric princes have their eyes on the town of Valton.
- Julius the mason is building fortifications at the Shimmermist Mine.
- The bandit leader Wolfgar and two other bandits are still waiting for a trial, rotting in the Valton Jail.
- The court-mage Fiona is still missing. Leandra and Jormaw are asking around citizens of Valton about it.
- Valton's priest, Itan-Ru has proven to be quite a handy healer, on more than one occation. He's gone through some hallusination (or something similar) thanks to the (poison?) Jormaw scratched on his hand.
- Jacqueline is working on a mannequin for the blacksmith, which is soon ready.
- Jormaw is trying to come up with a way to fix the hatred both Alguidar and Jacqueline feel towards him.
- Sarya has now taken over Hela's Folly.
- The blacksmith, Gorbad, is trying to sell the black chitin-leather armor, letting Jacqualine and Alguidar spread word around Valton of it. He's also trying to get some soul gems filled, and dig up some of the better ore found in Shimmermist mine.
- Roland is up and about, in an unknown location at the time being.
- Theseus has healed well from his wounds and has a crush on Jacqueline.
- Both Roland and Theseus have Nuramon to thank for saving their lives, neither of whom seem about to pay up.
- Nuramon almost turned into a werewolf inside Helas' Folly when he realized Jal had stolen a everything he'd invested in the store. He's ón his way to Riften....
- The extremely old dunmer, Varyn, lost his temper and almost put one of his workers on fire. He spent the night sitting on his trunk with his head leaned against a table in the inn.
- Danus Maximus continues his attempts to convince Jarl Radwulf to side with the empire, or at least let the empire within Valtons borders.
- Titus is trying to become a guard.
- Itan-Ru's brother, Sae-Kas, a highly skilled smuggler, is soon to arrive to Valton.
- The thieves guild has finally found courage to send a few men to Valton, the Khajiit brothers Ra-Tara and J'shar. Neither of whom have been very active lately...
- A new stable might be opened in Valton soon, if Erutáron, the bosmer, finds his way to Valton. Owner isn't active...
- Two stormcloak spies, Lokir and Allessandra, have arrived to Valton and set up a jewelry-shop. Neither of them are very active...
- Garrett is... Not very active. He's most likely in Riften.
- Annika the shop-keeper has gone away again... Visiting the store will require some character-control.
- An orc who's suffering from dwarfism, Urgoc, has found himself by accident in Valton. He wanted a visit with the Jarl, but almost got into a major fight with the down guards. He's currently in the Valton jail.
- Nellis Nelsh, the miner, has made a come-back. Thanks to Jormaw's harsh way to question him, the weak miner fainted inside Shimmermist mine. He's currently in Hela's Folly, angry as a bull who's seeing red at Jormaw.
- The Jarl is not pleased with Daikanos actions. A conversation between the two of them is to be expect, with an unknown outcome...
- A sailor and river trader, Ulfgar, is in Riften, have arrived to Valton. Standing about idly in the middle of town must be fun!
- It's raining heavily in Valton. It's dark and cloudy. Thunders can be heard in the distance.
- Roymund is determined to deal with the wolf situation.
- Alfhed melkedrikk is trying to sell a house to a dogbreeder, but both of them have been standing about for hours now without talking...
- Alguidar's apple trees have turned out to be real treasures.
- Trannigan is trying to become a guard. He's in the captains (daikanos) private quarters right now, waiting for the man to voice his opinion.
- Skelen, a shady argonian has arrived to Valton. Currently sitting inside Hela's Folly chatting with the owner Sarya.

Jormaw, Hela's Folly, Early Afternoon.

The argonian seemed amused when the nord finally awoke. He didn't even twitch as the Nellish went about stumbling into a kettle to vomit.
As well, afterwards it seemed the man had finally got the courage to walk over to the lizard in an attempt to confront him, but that was a trap.
"Excuse me? I'm but a simple fisherman whom found you yabbering in your sleep by the roadside, whilst picking some herbs."

"And I don't know of this shimmermist place, unfortunately." "Eh but anyway, yeah, you didn't seem very well right in the head."
"So I thought it'd be best to take you to this ere' inn to recover." "Aye, wouldn't want a good nord like yourself to catch a fever."
The saxhleel attempted to brush off some of the remaining debris left on the man and even came to offer him a leftover cup of cold rainwater.

"I'm sorry about the rude wake up call and all. As good old Gorbad here would tell you, you weren't exactly savvy to waking up."
He offered the man a joyful archein smile to lighten his mood. Which wasn't exactly fake by any means, but could of done with a little more emphasis.
If this all went alright for the lizard, he could well fool the man to believing everything that happened in the mine was just a very realistic lucid dream.

Which if made correct, should well make the man look into curing his nightmares once more. 'Right into the bosom of Tinkerwatc- oh by Seth..'
