Also, the main clan hideouts should have feed slaves, like in MW.

Just a secret cult. Maybe in a creepy cliche' castle?
maybe a town that was overrun by vampires and is now abandoned with vampires lurking around would be interesting.

This would be cool.

Not to sound like a total vampire geek, it would be kind of ridiculous to have a city of vampires. Vampires are fairly solitary creatures and don't gather in large groups to prevent overfeeding in an area, which would bring more vampire hunters. Just feeding on animals would be totally against their nature as well.

This. A town of vampires would be far fetched. Vampires don't feed on animals unless they absolutely need to if they are stranded in a fort or a cave. And it would draw much attention.

damn twilight fans... what is it with the fascination of vampires? jesus christ those vampires aren't even cool, not in TES or in Twilight or most [censored] you'll see (including blade) awesome vampires are like in hellsing, where they are actually NOT human anymore. or in shiki when they're actually undead.

on subject tho, Cult or house would be fine, town or city hell no, but maybe a town that was overrun by vampires and is now abandoned with vampires lurking around would be interesting.

People like them. Deal with it. What are people's fascination with Dunmers? Vivec? And damn Dragons? I don't find them fascinating at all, but people do so I respect that. THey aren't even awesome. You cant even become a dragon in Skyrim.

EDIT: My bad. I see you bashed the Twilight vampires. Good, good. I also like the monstrous vampires that are beast lile. But also like the "human-like" vampires who STILL feed on humans.

If they do have vampires, they better stay in the dark. Sunny vampires are [censored]. A cult or different clans would be better.

Funny, some vampires CAN walk in daylight in the ES. But their own rules tell them to avoid daylight by lifestyle. Even if they can walk in the sun, they are encouraed to live night lives.

The most powerful vampire tribe of Skyrim, the Volkihar, are said to live under the frozen ice of remote and haunted lakes.

I always imagined them living in a sort of sunken and ruined city, like the one with the statue of Boethiah in Morrowind.

And vampires are inredibly cool. 'Real' vampires that is. People that live in the forest, sparkle and dont drink blood are fairies, not vampires. ;)

well i agree with you although i could see the vampiric city being in a large underground cavern with buildings carved into the very rock. much more so then being an a canyon or a valley no matter how high the cliff walls are the suns gonna pass over them sometime. that or just have the city be inside a large abandoned dwemer city

Another worthless post. Get out and go post in some dragonborn thread or whatever. I'm asking nicely.

I stand my my idea that a Vampire civilization, possibly in some ruins somewhere, definitely underground, would be alright. But if there's something in TES Vampire Lore that would oppose this idea, then I'd change my mind. They could have cattle to prevent noticable overfeedering, couldn't they? And yeah... no feeding on animals.

Gladded you posted... I dont think this would count as a random addition either since vampires have been a part of the series for awhile.

A small underground city with one of two quests wouldn't be too bad.

The Volkihar could have a cool underwater/ice village. Would make sense.

I wouldn't mind a small gathering of vampires that aren't completely vicious like most of the groups you'd find in Oblivion.

A cave maybe, reminiscent of Fallout 3's band of people who saw themselves as vampires. I wouldn't want just a normal town filled with vampires, I'd prefer them in a cave going out at night to feed off travelers.

It is possible: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Treatise_on_Ayleidic_Cities

"Sure as death, pilgrims came to Varsa Baalim, and for years the Elves drove back many, until it came to pass that a vampire slipped into the city unnoticed. Merfolk were touched with the foul affliction, throwing the city into a gathering storm of madness and ruin, and soon it seemed none was left to prevent the Razor from being recovered."

So an underground ruin had a vampire come inside and turn everyone into vampires.

Just because something is cool doesn't mean in belongs in the game. There's no lore about a city of vampires in Skyrim. It would be cool if there were vampire tribes that populated ruins like in Morrowind, but I don't think they should have a full city.

A full village seems rather stupid. Unless it was underground or something. Why would they be living in the open? Are people just more progressive about vampires or something?

I'm not much into werewolves and vampires, but a whole city under a foggy valley of some sort.....I'd check it out.

And exterminate it :)

Small cults of Vampires can barely survive in old musty caves in Tamriel without some damn Vamp Hunter coming for them how would a City of them survive?

Ok, enough feedback :)

1st, I'm not a twilight fan... far from it in fact.

2nd. Q: what would they eat? - I said they'd eats boars bears and other creatures.

3rd. "it's not in the lore" - A lot of things will be added that isn't in the lore yet. The lore will get bigger whenever a new game / novel is brought out.

4th. The city would live in secrecy. And contain vampires who don't want to be vampires. So they would have a reason to stay out of sight.

But I see that there aren't much ppl who want the village. But something smaller would be cool right?
So, A vampire cult thats a bit more organised than the morrowind / oblivion clans?

It could be a bit similar like the black hand. And have a HQ in one of the old dwemer ruins.
Have the "leaders" be brought fresh meat and all.

I hate this idea. Vampires are supposed to be mysterious, theres nothing mysterious about a whole town of them.
