Looks bad ass with heavy armor. My current female Nord is wearing a pair of Nordic carved armor and boot with Dawnguard heavy gauntlets along with the vampire hood. That hood alone will make any armor set look awesome. Can't wait to get Ebony armor.

The Vampire Hood? The one that immediately makes your character bald and is glued flat to your head? I don't know. Looks kind of dumb, personally. Maybe it looks different on your game. You should post pictures of your character.

That's a bug that occurs if your character is a vampire. I believe it was also fixed in the unofficial patch.
