So, when you transform into either, that being Vampire Lord/ Werewolf forms. In what manner do you prefer to use them?

Killing sprees, regular combat, quests, or travel?

I mainly use the Vampire Lord form just for fun during combat and quests. Shredding up guards is always a welcome thing to me as it was in Beast Form before I made the switch during my time on the Dawnguard DLC. I mainly hit Whiterun or Solitude for that kind of fun though now.

But now I just mainly use it in quests against draugr or bandits.

I have found the vampire lord more useful against draugr and other powerful enemies. But whilst in Nord form, I can still tank through them much easier with the set up I have.

Anyways, which do you all prefer?

The Vampire Lord for me is a travel ability since it can fly much faster than i can run and since i dont waste my time with horses it works very well. Also if i end up fighting something that i just cant seem to beat via mortal means then the transformation fixes that quick. As for the Lycan i always tell myself im going to use it and then i forget about it because it isnt very versatile or controllable in any random situation

Both are too weak to extensively use them on the difficulty setting I play on, but there are some cheap tactics they can utilize. Werewolf's forward power attack that knocks away an enemy, or Vampire's Darth Vader choke hold that ends up with launching the victim in specified direction. I got the Darth Vader choke hold just as I entered the Forgotten Vale. Frost Giants were usually a bit of a pain in the ass to kill, but being able to toss them around at will made those fights a complete pushover.
