When I started playing skyrim legendary I just got it I had the old skyrim version. I started exploring the map found this huge castle. Later on there was a quest to find Serena she asks you to take her home which I did. Found it was the castle I lit up. Now she wont go up and talk to the guard. How can I get through. She has an elder scroll and I think I might need it. Ive tried the plate trick at eye level wont work what else can I do. I dont want to start over for the fifth time.

If you've already discovered Castle Volkihar (first mistake), then it tends to bug out. You'll need to reload save before discovering the castle.

It wont let me reload older spots plus ive am so much father ahead now. What else is there to do now that I discovered it. She wont leave and Serena is bad at sneaking.
