Hello all, wondered if anyone know why I keep getting vampire symptoms when in the Dampened Spirits quest? When I get near the end of the part of the quest where I have to poison the vermin, I get into the last room because I see the arrows , when I am attacked by a load of skeevers and one human, I guess he's human.

During that battle, I get a message that says my vampire symptoms, weakness to fire and another. Does this have something to do with Serana being with me or is the guy who comes after me who is tough as hell to kill? Thanks for any help, Danny dunk8009

According to uesp.net, this is a known bug with Serana:

I haven't experienced it myself (I could barely stand having Serana around for the Dawnguard quests, nevermind keeping her as a regular follower, but, hey, that's just me), so I can't say whether the "cure" works or not.

You're right. I finally got tired of Serana's BS and dumped her at the Fort and went and found my boy Marcurio who I had previously lost somewhere in cyberspace and found one day when I went back to Riften. Thanks for the help, Danny dunk8009
