Well that's unfortunate... I really hope you don't play on the PS3.

Anywho, you wouldn't have contracted from the Anvil House quest, you must have been in a cave and contracted

Porphyric Haemophillia from a Vampire you were fighting.

ps3

Oh dear. You'l need to go back to an earlier save before you became a vampire and pray at a chapel altar then

There's a bug on the PS3 which prevents you from completing the quest.

There is a way to get past the bug but if you have GotY but it botches the Shivering Isles.

Only at the first level of Vampirism (i.e the first 24 hours after you've last fed)

You get a lot of extra powers, but IMO it just ends up being a pain.

There are two possible ways to sort this but one messes with the Shivering Isles if you have completed it.

1. Borrow a copy of the original game from a friend (or take it by gunpoint, your choice) speak to Raminus Polus about a cure for vampirism and contunue the quest as normally.

2. Speak to Raminus Polus, ask him about a vampire cure and continue the quest normally. The bug occurs once you have collected the Bloodgrass for the quest and the woman doesn't accept them. If you change the language of your PS3 in settings, the option of giving her the Bloodgrass will be there as Blutgrass.

WARNING: If you have completed the Shivering Isles questline, it restarts but you keep the items from the Isles which you have brought to Cyrodiil. You can't complete the questline again because many of the quests are glitched.
