Vampires confirmed!

2 reasons why Beth will include Vamps. 1 Vamps in Morrowind and Oblivion? Yup. 2. It's cold in Skyrim, perfect for Vamps.

Methinks this is an April Fools joke..
I've not heard anything about this until now so, until you can provide some facts/links, not buying.

werewolves r better

Well, werewolves would fit the setting more i think, but vampires would be great as well.

Vampires were in Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind and Oblivion. I don't doubt that we will see them in Skyrim. Now as for werewolves, that's much different. The setting is perfect and most of us wants werewolves after playing as them in only 2 games.

There should be both werewolves and vampires, in my opinion. And we should have the possibility of becoming either one (or becoming a super-powerful combination of both, as in Underworld.... :hubbahubba: ). Vampires have always been in, so there's no reason not to include them, and as you said--werewolves fit the setting, and they are part of the lore of Skyrim, so unless they were all wiped out by this time (please, no!) then there should be werewolves.

Why wouldn't there be vampires? :)

Exactly.
Imo, this thread is almost as useless as a thread saying "Argonians confirmed!" would be.

As others have said about werewolves, they fit the sitting of Skyrim very good. I don't see why they aren't included either.

In the TES series, vampires are supposed to be monsters, which is something I always appreciated. They're not sparkly faeries, they're blood-svcking fiends. I think the main reason vampires were able to pass for human in Oblivion was because it fit the lore. The strain of vampirism in Cyrodiil allows someone to go undetected as a vampire if they feed regularly, at least according to the lore available.

For Skyrim, I honestly won't care if we aren't able to do this. I haven't heard anything about the Skyrim vampires being able to go unnoticed as such, so as long as there is some guild or general faction, I will be content.

It's your fault, sad to say. In order to become a vampire in Oblivion you had to get hit by vampires while fighting them. What's more, you either didn't see or just ignored the part where it tells you you got the disease. Then you played for 3 days without noticing the effect, and then you slept. It isn't the game's fault. Also, did you just use a Cure Disease spell or potion after you slept? After the 72 hours that doesn't work, but if you did the quest, it is still your fault.

I think they are in, in fact I would bet all my internets that it is true. It is a staple of TES, I just hope they combine the elements of Morrowind and Oblivion (Passing for human in Oblivion, an actual culture and society in Morrowind).

So I don't become a vampire randomly while sleeping?, gotta admit I didn't know that XD.

Being a vampire wasn't all bad, I just thought I was being very unlucky while sleeping (Nice bit of info that a vampire had to touch me while I was awake), the vampire sight really came in handy in some quests (Pitch black dark prison where I had to avoid guards, hard as hell without night vision).

I hope both of them are in XD.

There is no reason that Vampires WONT be in.. they are in every other ES game.. just hope they have different clans (like in Morrowind) but with more fleshed out quests, and a heirarchy.. maybe the option when you progress into a clan far enough to get the ability to turn people (like bandits) into vampire minions or something.. When turned maybe give some of the clans, the more beastial ones, claws to fight with?

Werewolves DEFINATLY fit the game lore.. it would be KICKASS if there were some! I dont know about the whole hybrid thing.. wasnt in the last games with werewolves, as a were you get immunity to disease if I remember correctly, as well as a few other perks in your "human" form.

Should make you extra powerful in were form, but make the change uncontrolable.. without having a certain item, or doing a certain quest to learn the ability to control the shift.

I liked how in bloodmoon if someone saw you change, hunters went after you!

So, how do you want to die?

Preferably after my playthrough of Skyrim.
Please don't kill me before that.
Oh, and I want to die like a hero. Being pushed down dive rock.

:P Sounds like a good idea to me!

And after he is captured we should string him up from his entrails and allow Syl to dissect him and patch him back up....and do it again.
