Previous OP's Ideas:

I think it'd be cool if each Werebeast and Vampire clan have at least one unique power...

1. Volkihar. The ability to go through ice.
2. Volkihar. The ability to freeze with their breath.

3. Werewolves. If this was implemented I'd be power enough.

Here's an idea for werewolves: Werewolves mostly run alone but if Hircine has a quest for them they may unite in dozens and lay siege on cities (would be a cool Hircine's quest for werewolves only to destroy a city) while in wolf form they should be considered wolf by other wolves, and if you prove your power to a group of wolves by killing (or horrible crippling) their pack leader, during this time the pack is yours and the wolves are yours to command... their den your home and their enemies your enemies, in fact other wolf pack may attack your den and lead to an all out war until your den has been taken or your enemy killed, all this should go on during your two-day-a-month long time as a werewolf (two moons equal double full-moon and just because it ain't night doesn't mean the full moon won't show) once your back in human form the wolves will attack you, no longer seeing you as their brother and when you transform back into werewolf you'll have to find a new pack... this would truly be epic and would add so much to the 48 hours of bloodshed...

4. Werebears. An epic power would be the ability to grow up to x3 as big get up to x3 at all stats, health, fatigue, attributes, damage...

And just so you know, it is forbidden to talk about Twilight! Thanks.

Journalists had just mistaken a frost troll for a "wereyeti," I believe. I'd have thought a troll would be a much more recognisable and familiar fantasy monster than a wereyeti... whatever the hell a wereyeti is... but who knows.

Still got my fingers crossed for some kind of confirmation of both vamps and lycanthropes in the fan Q&A.

I hope they also include stuff for the Hunters. Maybe a quest or two involving tracking down vamps/weres, some old guy giving you tips & tricks, a secret dealer of silver weapons, that sort of thing.

That would be an awesome quest. You are hired as a "Van Helsing" type of guy to kill vampires/were-wolfs, and at the end you get bitten/turned into one.

sure but which one? i can't see it being that liner, i mean what if u get turned by a werewolf cuz the vampire wasn't able to get to u fast enough and you wanted to become a vampire? what if a werewolf just happens to be were the vampire is located when you are assigned to hunt a vampire and find its body next to werewolf instead?

Well maybe you could chose which one you hunted and that would determine which you would be. Or, at the end of the quest, you collect the parts of what you killed (vampire stuff or werewolf stuff) to give to someone who would turn you into whatever you wanted.

Well, (yeah I kinda pulled that one out of no where), but I remember in Oblivion there was the vampire in the Dark Brotherhood that would turn you into a vampire if you asked him and were high enough trust level.

Ya he did that by feeding on you while you were asleep which is diffrent than collecting stuff from dead vampires and giving them to someone lol

He trusted you enough to turn you into one, there where other ways than just him in OB though as well :)

I'm not being negative but why do people want this so badly. Didn't play morrowind so can't speak about lycanthropy but I didn't like being a vampire in Oblivion.

I genuinely don't see the big deal. Why does everyone want the werewolves vs vampires twilight thing.

With it being a fantasy world why not morph into a completely different animal? One that hasn't been done before

I didn't like being a vampire either. I hated it. But being a werewolf is a whole other story. It's really fun. I don't remember it too much from Morrowind...but it was really fun. I just love werewolves. They look cool.

Same reason people want dragons and gameplay improvements. And no one here wants the werewolf vs twilight, we just want to play as either creature. It's a fantasy world, yes, but we don't want to be forced to play as boring characters such as Argonians and khajiit simply because they are not life altering conditions. I would definetly want to play as a dragon or a Lich, whatever makes me a darker malevolent character in the game instead of a stupid crappy human or beast race or elf.

Don't mention Twilight. None of us here like that crap to begin with, so please don't compare folklore and game lore with an overhyped movie. Trust me, if I can morph into anything predatory and powerful and dark in ES V: Skyrim, then I would accept it. But Lycanthropes and vampires are the best thing out there in the moment.

Whaat? Argonians and Khajiits are the two most fun races to play (from all the races available).

I'm just concerned we're gonna end up with a twilight love story and have to make the lovely choice of either commiting an act of necrophilia or beastiality after you've chosen sides

Being a werewolf in MW was alot of fun, atleast to me it was, that is enough for me despite my love for them lol

Being a vampire was so backwards to me in Oblivion it killed it for me, I still try it ever now and than and just have to pretend the flaws are not there which is hard to do

and also vampirs vs werewolves was NOT made up by Twilight, if you have to use a example don't use that crap of a franchises made by a old hag n her daughter or whatever use something more brutal like the Underworld series or even something before that

My point is vampires and werewolves have been done already. Why not pick something different like morphing into a bear

They are considered "Normal". We can't eat people as them nor svck their blood. They are just like humans. Therefore, they aren't as cool.

Bethesda wouldn't do that. They did something similar to Oblivion, however. A vampire Imperial fell in love with a mortal orc woman. And when he told her he was a vampire, she locked him up in his own room for decades, leaving him screaming that he would drain her dry and rip his baby from her very womb. I liked it because it ended in tragedy.

:nono: that won't be happening besides who ever said anything about having to have love involved with becoming a vampire or werewolf? Again stop with the [censored] fest known as Twilight, I feel bad enough as it is having to read 1-4 books on that crap when I was in highschool, oh how my youth was wasted!!
