of course there is the 800 pound fat lady in the room nooone has mentioned yet. bethesda keeps insisting on that stupid and i mean really stupid 30 to 1 timescale. which means if you play a vampire you get to walk around for about 10 real time minutes and then you have to wait 12 hours before you can walk around for another 10 minutes. i really wish bethesda would drop that super fast timescale nonsense. there is no reason for that.

Well, i hope they look like what ppl want, but it is confirmed that you could marry a vampire right?

First i hope they are not totally ugly, or who would even wanna marry one x.x ! :o

Second if they are made to look scary, I hope their will be a mod to make the kind of vampire I want which would prob happen. ( twilight) (trueblood) lol. :P ~
(Sorry Console players) >.<.

I totally agree with the passage of time. They should do a 1:1 game time and refine the granularity of the "wait" command to allow input of # of hours and minutes to compensate for the normal flow of time.

How about they let the vampire players choose.

Have several vampire clans, one will be fair and pretty, the other will be a raisin. Then everyone is happy (except for the purists).

Vampire: The Masquerade has been around since 1991. You were 6 at the time (I looked at your profile... sorry!). :)

I hope they have a better look for vampires in Skyrim, I just couldn't take the vampires in Oblivion seriously. I don't want them to be ugly raisins but I do want them to have a more sinister feel to them. In some books I've read they've made vampires look like ordinary people, or straight out beautiful. People that interacted with them were still creeped out even though they didn't know why until they realised the vampires breathing was strange (like the timing was off, because they had forgotten what it was like to do it properly) that they weren't blinking, that some of there movements were odd, their behaviour out of place etc. This sort of 'uncanny vally' creepiness is something I'd like to see in the vamps that hide in society (with some more visually distrubing ones in the wilderness) but it would be difficult to pull off.

Ok i know this is a silly idea i just thought of lol ~!!!

But like, so their are different vampire clans right ?

I was thnking of a vampire clan that feeds on animal blood and would make them look young (good) vampires.

The vampires that look scary ( maybe like raisins) feed on human blood (scary evil) vampires idk lol.

Just an idea i thought of lol ~!!! :o i know its silly

If they actually implement Volkihar vampires, then no problem. Something more dark and beastly for Skyrim instead of the "aristocratic" Cyrodiilic Vampires no one wanted.

Dude I'd LOVE that! Beastly vamps would be awesome! So awesome that I prepared a bullet point presentation! ^_^

-Becoming a vamp should make human/elf hair look more shaggy/wild. Khajiits should also get shaggier fur! And Argonians... Argonians can go do somthing over there... <_<

-When you're a vamp you should get REALLY long fangs. Like, holy crap a bloodthirsty monster long. Not those fangs look sharp, but still kinda cute long.

-Transformations! ^.^ Every good vampire can turn into a bat! But since SOME people are aginst flying in this game... <_< I guess we could turn into a wolf, or a black cat/lynx, or somthing.

-New animations. Vamps should run way faster, and have an animation that shows it. Maybe if they took WAY bigger strides, and leaned foward. Also, jumping.

-Keep it under control. I know this is more of a Cyrodilic vamp thing. But it'd be cool if drinking blood made you temporarily look less like a "super badass, awesome, beast, rawr imma rip you throat out and drink your blood like mead." kinda vamp, and more like a "socially acceptable, high class charmer, strang but in a good way, twilight-y (Dun be hatin'! ) I'll still give you quests" kinda vamp.

-Speaking of drinking blood... There should be many methods of doing so. Sneaking up behind someone and drinking it, drinking it while they're sleeping, knocking someone out in a fight and drinking it, and just dinking the blood from a dead corpse (for less of a bonus).

-Faction(s). A vampire faction, where they do vampire related quests (Maybe collecting blood, or turning a specific person. ) Also Vamp faction vs Wolf faction would be sweet! (Twilight wasn't the first to do it, and it isn't ruined because they did it. Please continue, my good sir. and deal with it.)

Edit: Wait... does S T F U automatically change to "Please continue, my good sir."? Oh you clever mods, you.

i made serious, decent suggestions for vampire appearance... no one has anything to say about mine, instead, everyone is arguing about twilight boy band members who bathe in glitter.

I already resigned my self to a fact that vampires will have to modded half to second death :D But yes, I absolutely agree - the character should still be reconstructible after becoming a vamp :)

Please, repeat your suggestion. I will read it :)

Bloodsvcking Raisins. Love it :D

I really hope they do include the Volkihar in Skyrim. It would be great to see a different slant on the poor vampires that have been implemented in TES games so far.
Make them look real bestial and evil and not like something that stepped out from a 70`s hammer horror. The ones from Oblivion looked like shriveled up Christopher Lee attempts.
Forget all this purile traditional hollywood movie type vamp crap and have types that might actually scare the crap out of the player, or at least be a blast to become. Give them some history, different abilities (like coming out the ice, holy crap that would be freaky), looks, anything but standard features with white/glowing eyes and fangs...meh.

Sorry, this isn't twilight. The Vampire you had in Cyrodiil will be the closest to 'human' looking you will have. I must say I will be pretty disappointed if Skyrim veers from the long-established lore on what the vampires of Skyrim look like in appearence just to appease the twilight-fans.

I don't see what everyone's [censored]ing about Twilight for... <_< I mean you guys act like it's a whole trend that'll ruin vampires forever, but it's not! just one series that no one over 10 likes! It's not a big deal!

On Topic: Rasins are frickin delicous. :3

Also: I'm so sorry, but it's 4:30 in the morning, and you guys are pissing me off. >:I

Yes. NO ONE in this thread has asked for Twighlight-style vampires.

I want the Cyrodil vampires again.

I think most people here would like to see a combination of both excluding neither, it is all about choices, and the more choices a person can make in a game like this gives more individuality and more for the player to connect with.

Especially since this a single player game, and I hope that will never change, but making it so the Player can choose and making it possible that they can make a character that every one here has liked, is the way to do it for sure.

I wouldn't want anyone's vision of a Vampire to be left out, I think there is room for them all.

From some deep dark hole in the ground where when you come across one that will scare the living daylights out of you, to the Aristocrat living among his food for the past several Hundred years.

Matter of fact I would love to see Janus Hassildor, Imperial noble, the Count of Skingrad living in just such a fashion in TESV:Skyrim.

Personally, I hope they have both types, where the player can join either group. There could even be a shadow war occuring behind the scenes where the cyrodiil vampires are trying to make a claim to Skyrim terrirtory. Would make for some great questlines.
