Personally i like vampires better, i think their mythology is really cool. Im a huge fan of True Blood (fk Twilight). But in Skyrim im siding with the wolf. Cause from what I hear of the vamps in Skyrim they're the same as Oblivion. I did play as a vampire in Oblivion, but since nothing has changed for the vampires I wont even bother. So Lycan's all the way!

I feel the same way. vampires are very mysterious and powerfull and there history is awesome. I was also a vamp in obliv for my whole playthrough and i loved the bonuses it gave but in skyrim theres nothing more fun than running around mutilating everything in the way like a true boss.

werewolves dont have any control over themselves where vampires may have more weaknesses but actually capable of normal thought they can capture werewolves n make them their [censored]es

plus the fact alucard is a vampire makes vampires = instant win

(but i gotta say werewolf is fun to play as in skyrim ^-^)

Werewolves.

Why? I can choose when and where i become the beast, and i'm also not forced to hide in a cave when it's daytime. I'm aware vampires don't have to do this, but honestly.. 100% decrease to stamina and health regen at phase 4 where you're most powerful as a vampiré? No thanks.

Have to admit though, i only went werewolf for the disease resist, i got fed up of being constantly diseased with that bone thing and that damned rat disease.

that was the main reason i went wolf my second playthrough also(plus the carnage), stage 4 vamp cripples you more than helps IMO.
