Vampiric Armor

Post » Wed Mar 30, 2011 7:08 am

Ive had a good scroll through various Oblivion mod sites to find the sort of thing im after, but havent had much luck.

Basically im looking for Vampiric Armor mods that aim less toward generic black evil stuff and more to Classic bat-ish vampire armor. I'll post some random pictures below and hopefully somebody will be able to think of some mods that match close enough to this style :D Or maybe some talented individual could even jump up and make them :D (long shot)

And yes i think you get the picture :D Probably thinking specifically more about the last 3 images..

In the past i had a mod that sort of satisfied this need. I cant remember the name (but i suspect it had the word 'Black' in it). Basically it was a black suit of bulky evil looking vampiric armor. It was worn by a Vampire lord guy who was placed in the Bloodworks beneath the Arena (in the sewers). Hopefully someone remembers what this mod was called cos i couldnt find it again -_-

Well there is this one on TESA, it seems to have armor that is not entirely black.

Well, it's black but http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=25734 seems rather close to what you're looking for perhaps.

Also, http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15562 and http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=26490.

Haha sorry that was a bit blunt ;)

Thanks for the suggestion and i have actually tried that mod. Aside from it being more directed at female characters, it just seemed to 'weedy' and skinny for what im after.

Im more thinking of bulky armor that a Vampiric Knight would wear. Like the examples i gave. It seems most people do Light armor's for vampires which really doesnt work for those of us who play formidably violent warrior-vampires. :D

I should probably learn how to model armor myself i guess ;D

Or you could make a request thread, and see who takes the challenge. (Not me. :) )

Only armor that comes to mind as remotely close to your photos is http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10177 (Nico's Dreadweave) - Good luck -

Mmm might not be great to so quickly post another thread about it ^_^

Hopefully someone see's this then who has some spare time to knock something together.

[factoring in that im not shabby at learning new things] i wonder how long it would take to learn the modelling/skinning programs with some degree of competancy..

Not made with Vampires in mind i guess but this one is bulky i think...but it has things i (and maybe you to) that i do not like. The cape is one of those things...still it might be something you could use.

Hmm that is definately an intersting mod.

For the time being ive found a surprising solution: Saurons armor! :D lol i know the Helmet is [censored]. But if you throw the helmet away and the cuirass with the cape youve actually got a very vampiric set of armor. That will have to do me until i can find or make one that completely satisfies me.

That is good to hear, but be aware that it is really...really heavily enchanted armor. Well in my opinion that is, you and others might like the enchantments. :)
