I always go with the female Nords. I think they make the best looking females and best looking female vampires.

i actually find female Altmer Vamps look really good if you pick one of the presets (the one with the blonde hair and light goldish skin)

I think Dunmer make the best looking vampires with their grey skin and red eyes.

The only way to somewhat limit that is to remove all eye tint/shadow, cheek color, etc. You can cure yourself, make the changes at the face sculptor then ask Serana to turn you again....I suggest saving in the Ragged Flagon before you ask Serana to turn you as then you can simply reload and try to make more adjustments instead of needing to cure yourself another time.

ha yea, pre-Dawnguard I had a wicked looking vamp with dark eyes and such but they caused the dirty face bug post-Dawnguard so I ended up scrapping him....keep in mind that removing all shadow and colors doesn't completely clean their face, only helps reduce the burnt/dirty bug. There's no way to make a clean looking lady vamp like Serana unless you use mods.

i made 4 different characters (all different races) just to see the vampirism. Now they all have dirty faces  :ahhh:

Guess ill just go with one and not be picky
