So I went and spring cleaned my Skyrim to a nice squeaky clean installation, and Braggen the third character to attempt to play Dragonborn finally escaped the endless loading screen of doom to get back to Raven Rock and get his house. Everything was fine, game is running a lot better, but on starting up the last save twhich was in the house Varona Nelas has now appeared in it. Pretty sure she is meant to be living in some mushroom over near Tel Mithryn, why is she in Braggen's house, and how do I get rid of her? Braggen has not actually met her before this that I remember, he certainly was not talking to her when entering the house, and she was not in the house when I saved the game.

She happens to be in my way since I am trying to move something that requires a bit of patience and delicate handling, but although Braggen is fairly heartless I do not want to kill her for trespassing. She has no dialogue that indicate she should be in the house, so I assume it is yet another bug. And she is being very cheeky with the replies, considering she is in the wrong house.

Braggen left the house, leaving her in the main bedroom, although she never left the house, she has now vanished. I want a lock for the house to keep unwanted visitors out.

There is a side quest that deals with her that might resolve the issue (see Neloth about a missing steward). Otherwise, kind of a cool bug, tbh.

The character before this one had the missing steward quest, although she never got far on it. Braggen will get to it, still picking up all his stuff now he has a house. I have somewhat lost enthusiasm after all the trouble the DLC caused, I might just go do the main quest, then do the others later.

All ties in to Neloth's main quest line. As to why she appears in "your" house... um, perhaps it wasn't you she was going to see? Meaning, she's meant to be travelling to RR when she "disappears" and perhaps she is tied in with Ildari and the Morag Tong/House Hlalu.
