I was am trying to use VATS and the building/crafting system and all of a sudden, whenever I try to open them, the screen goes really green or red depending on what I am doing.
It goes red if I can't build in that area, not just on the item I am trying to place but over the whole screen and green if its alright to place.
I also got this when I was using some crafting menus and VATS.

As well as that I rarely get, (as shown in the pictures provided) depending on where the item is being placed, and the type of item it is, it will not be very bad but still annoying in crafting.

if you still have this issue, maybe you can fix it updating your GPU (graphic) drivers, i have a nvidia and it worked for me
