If feel extremely offended by this. Why people have to throw everything even slightly related to word "shooter" to a bag called "Call of Duty"? I like first person combat in Fallout: New Vegas, but that doesn't mean I like things CoD is identified with, like simplified mechanics.

You don't have to be a 'nerd purist' to want people to get the name of the game right. It's like if someone decided to start referring to you as DaveMC. and you were expected to just go 'eh, close enough', even though it's not your handle.

Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel isn't Fallout 3.
Fallout: New Vegas is neither Fallout 4, nor is it Fallout 3: New Vegas.

New Vegas is neither an Expansion Pack, nor a DLC. It's a stand-alone item with it's own bloody name.
