Name: Denny Robinson (Denzel Robinson)
Age: 49
six: Male
Race: Human
Nationality: African-American
Appearance: Strong faced, rather average in size and weight. 5'10, sturdy brown eyes.
Vault Occupation: Teacher/Therapist
Clothes: Vault 110 Jumpsuit
Weapons: None
Misc: None (that I can think of right now)
Addictions/Habits: Book Worm/Overthinker
Active weaknesses: He tends to either get to wrapped up in his time that he begins to run late, or he think s ahead of those he is trying to help. He also isn't much for conveying emotions, so it makes his feelings hard to decipher - which is a good thing considering his line of work.
Strengths: He has an above standard intelligence, from the abundance of books he reads. In fact, if the Vault had a library, that would be his profession. He also has an affinity for the sciences of the psychological. He quietly prides himself in being able to break down a person's thought process.
Personality: Mellow, keeps his thoughts to himself for the most part. He is able to hold a sturdy conversation but can sometimes forget his brain isn't like most people's and say things that seem to most as outlandish. He knows when and when not to put a certain amount of energy into communication, since communication is essential to him teaching.
History: Denny has born to two basic parent's living two basic lives. His is not really anything more special. He fell in love with the books in old and the stories they told, both fictional and non fictional. Because of this, he has the ability to not only list a timeline of everything that has happened to America since 1910, but can also anolyze it. He has a natural affinity for the mind and being able to understand the little nuances of human nature, and has honed that through his readings. Not it is at the point where he can play out whole conversations between a person based on body language, speech, verbal tones, and mental makeup, among other things. This said, he usually doesn't use that tool, only because he's too lazy to go about the weaving of sentences and words to get the output he wants from them.
Needing a way to make money, he applied for the teaching position when his old one retired, electing to teach those both old and young (at different times of course) specific skills. He is obviously a jack of all trades which includes a basic use of weaponry, but actually finds a true passion in anolyzing people, which is also why he became a therapist. It took some persuasion--which really wasn't his strong suit--to get the overseer, Mr. Clark to grant him two jobs, but it payed off. The proof is in the pudding, as no one in the vault has been reported crazy yet, and the Vault Security hasn't had to use its guns in a while. For the past 20 years he's been working day after day.
He as a niece who lies in the same house (idk what to call it) as him. They get along good; he's never had any problem's from her . . . except her ambition.
Name: Darby Robinson
Age: 21
six: Male
Race: Human
Nationality: African-American
Appearance: Hazel eyes, which come first. Strong, dominant features that stand out badly when alienated, but somehow combine to make a beautiful face. 5,9, average size. Slender where she needs to be.
Vault Occupation: Assistant Doctor - kinda
Clothes: Vault 110 Jumpsuit/Labcoat
Weapons: Medical instruments if you wanna call that weapons.
Misc: Ophthalmoscope/Small Medical Kit/Chemistry Kit
Addictions/Habits: Workaholic
Active weaknesses: She can be so ambitious sometimes that she neglects what, or who may be right in front of her. She is never weary from her work, but its just ca't be healthy to almost never sleep. She has a freakin' mini-lab in her room. She also uses chems responsibly, and is not addicted. I'm not sure if that would go under weaknesses of Habits/Addictions.
Strengths: Standard intelligence for common things, good common sense. Heightened intelligence for anything science and aso what happens to fall under medicine. Partially because of the influence her uncle has on her, she is also a masseuse (but thats so unofficial, that she hasn't even tried that yet), and an acupuncturist (but everyone's simply to scared to try that except fro her uncle).
Personality: Upfront, but not outgoing. If it is relative to her version of success, then she'll give you the time of day, otherwise . . .
History: She was raised predominately by her uncle Denny, and didn't her her parents This forced to her to be her ow mother and eventually learn how to be independent. That said, she still lives with her uncle to "take care of the old geezer." He "looks worse for wear nowadays." Or so she claims. He's not the most open book on the shelf, but its doesn't take too much to see how she feels. She'll of course never admit it at the detriment of her pride and her ambition. Her almost ominous uncle notices everything and has been there through every hurtle weather she wanted the help or not.
Straight out of school she applied to be a teacher, and learned directly from the head doctor, Tony Sakin (who she jokingly called Autopsy in replacement for Antony when she was feeling low. She studied under him for two years, going well past the suggested and even the required time for internship. She is still awaiting an official Doctor, Assistant Doctor, or Lead Chemist status from Mr. Sakin, all the while working diligently on her job as an assistant doctor with an irradiated chip on her shoulder.
As far as love interest's go, there was of course, a boy. This boy was definitely a well-reputable working student just as her, and had everything he had and even could surpass her in certain things There was one place he was lacking, was the ambition. Although he was smart, funny, cute, the whole nine, he was banking on becoming a plumber like his father's before him. She didn't take kindly to that, and demanded he pick "a real career, or kiss her good-bye." She hadn't realized the mistake till later, and loses sleep every once in a while wondering the age old question of what if.
