Aron Erlichman

Seeing as the man Jason Pierce was not in his room at the end of Aron's shift of interrogations he decided he might as well head back to the security offices and put all the paperwork on to the terminals. Taking the stairs he used his key card to enter the complex. But before he could make another two steps, an officer grabbed him and told him the terrible news. A lab technician, the officer guarding evidence killed, and another officer missing.

But then it hit him, he had a revelation:

Who ever entered the security complex used a pass card, and I could check records to see whose pass card was used. But I already know that its the one of the missing officer. [censored]. We put the Vault on lockdown and search all non-security personnel rooms, starting with high priority targets and will find the pass card and they'll be guilty of all the murders.

He was about to take off to Security Chief's room when, he got a shout out over the radio from the Chief telling him to get his scrawny ass down there now or he was out of a job. Moving through the offices he burst through the door, without letting anyone else speak he explained the situation:

"Chief, sir, whoever entered the security complex and took evidence from the locker and killed the two other men must have the other missing officer's pass card. If we put the Vault on lockdown and search all rooms starting with priority targets, we'll find the person with the passcard and convict them of all the murder's" he then quickly added "Sir" to the end of his small speech knowing that even though his idea was good being disrespectful would still make him liable to get put in the detention center and not get to reap the rewards of solving a huge case.

"Confess Pierce! We know you kidnapped Officer Hernandez and that your responsible for the gas leak!" An interrogation officer roared at Jason, trying to break him. Jason held his head in his hand and said nothing.

"God dammit, say something Pierce!" He kept roaring and Jason kept trying to block him out. "Ah [censored] this. Andrews, go tell the chief we have our killer," He said to the other officer in the room.

"But sir, he hasn't said anything. There's nothing linking him to the.." He tried to respond but was quickly cut off, "You do as I [censored] tell you Andrews, now go tell the chief!" He yelled, the officer knowing better then to question him.

The interrogation officer leaned on the table and continued talking,"You think your so innocent huh Pierce? You think anyone's going to believe you over me? All they want is a killer and I'm giving them one on a silver platter.."

Security Chief Kevin Hunter

Two Officers burst into the room trying to explain their situation. After calling for order and having them go one at a time they informed the chief about their information. Before the Chief could respond Officer Wolf asked for entrance.

"You may enter Mr. Wolf.", the Chief said as he rose from his seat.

Once the three men had entered the room the Chief began to speak. "Andrews go down to the canteen there's where we'll be gathering the population for questioning. Erlichman I want you to help question the janitor in interrogation. Wolf when I give the announcement to gather the citizens you and your team dismantle this vault floor by floor starting with the Living Quarters. Now I have to go see the Overseer so get to your tasks."

Activating the intercom on his desk the Chief ordered all citizens to report to the Canteen for questioning.

"This is Security Chief Hunter I am ordering the vault be placed in lockdown. Once your quarters and person have been checked report to the canteen for questioning. That is all.", the Chief concluded.

The Chief then disappeared out of the room heading for the Overseer's office preparing for an even bigger ass chewing than yesterday.

John nods then leaves the chiefs office and takes his team with him and head to the living quarters. While in the living quarters they begin to search the place top to bottom. Looking for anything incriminating after around 30 minutes they finished searching a few rooms finding nothing. "this is going to take a while" he says while searching.

The Security Chief seeming to not care about the revelation that Aron had decided that he would continue with his assigned duties. Leaving the office wing of the security complex Aron walked to the detention center. He entered the interrogation chamber where Jason Pierce was being held. He sat down at the table.

"First I would like to say thank you for helping me when I was very intoxicated. But unfortunately you as well as a few other people are now high priority targets for the investigation. I'm going to give you a chance to explain your actions of trying to break into a crime scene as well as threatening the Vault. We might have to investigate your living quarters if we don't get to the bottom of this. Hold on a minute."

Then Aron turned and left. He asked a Vault Security Officer to go to the terminal, access the network and confirm that the missing Vault Officer's pass card was used to access the Security Complex by the murderer. He then re-entered the interrogation and asked for Jason's answer.

"I have no other options.." Jason thought to himself, examining the new officer. It was the same one he had assisted the other night and now, as fate would have it, he was the only one that could assist Jason now.

"I will speak with you, but only alone. No other officers, no recordings, nothing on the record," Jason requested.

Aron thought for a few seconds about that. He knew this was probably his only chance of getting to the bottom of this.

"Alright, everyone out," he barked and the Officers shocked at Aron's sudden hostility immediately left. "And turn off the recording's and video cameras," he added.

"I'm glad this is going smoothly," the cameras powered down, "Now please obviously you can point us in the right direction to find out who is responsible, please give me any all information about anything and everything that might help us solve this case and save other people."

Jason waited to make sure everything was clear before he said anything. "I could tell him about Wes," He thought for a moment. "No no, that would just get them both screwed," The officer stared, waiting for a response. "The blackouts, the burning, the body.." He pondered again. "God dammit, If I tell him any of it I'll be screwed. Gotta play the guilt card on this one.."

"Look, I can't say much, but I promise if you help get out of here, I'll explain it all in the future," He said, hoping he could pull off the "Caring Victim" act.

"Consider this a trade. One good deed for another.."

"Alright, would you care to spill the beans. We gotta get to the bottom of this ASAP. You seem to know something, and you seem to be trying to play me. I'm not happy with that but for now I'll roll with it."

He sat there hoping this guy was actually going to give some info without more convincing measures.

"If I told you anything no good would come from it," Jason responded, seeing that his tactic was failing. He had to act fast. As he started brainstorming for ideas, his hands began to shake. "Are you [censored] kidding me.."

"Sir, if you have even the slightest ounce of kindness in you, please, let me go!" He said, hoping his last plea of faith would be enough to turn the officer..

John The team about 70% dine with the sweep radio in. "HQ this is search team 70% done with sweep with no luck so far" he says while they continue there search they happen across Officer Kendall's place. they search the room top to bottom and find a bloody knife under his dresser. he puts gloves on and puts the knife in a baggy then gives it to an officer to take to HQ saying " this makes no sense Officer Kendall had an alibi that night none the less detain him and send him to questioning no using the radio in case he tries to run for it i could be wrong about him".

Continuing the search the finish 12 more rooms about done they go to Wesley Hardin's room and search it from top to bottom. almost leaving an officer says "hey what about the vent we forgot to check that?" the officer says. "yeah check it Chief will kill us if we forget something like that." he says they check the vents finding something in it. "i found something!" the officer says. "nice!" he says while leaning against the desk with his hip the desk slides alot tripping him on his ass. "nice one dumb ass haha" an officer says. "yeah yeah he" says going to put the desk back and notices the wall does not look right behind the desk. "whats this?" he says messing with it trying to get it opened he finally uses his service knife and pry's it open. Finding bloody clothing his surprise turns to anger " how many [censored] suspects are we going to find?" he says. The officer looking at the vent decides to pry it open and finds a knife inside. John sends the entire group back with the evidence radioing ahead to the officers at HQ on what they had found in Wesley Hardin's room.

He waits for the search team to return for them to finish there search being about 90% done at this point. When the officers return they continue there search they go to Matthew Graver 's room searching it from top to bottom with what they found out in mind when continuing there search. one of the officers find a weapon stash in his room the knives looking the same as the one in Officer Kendall's place. It not being incriminating against him being there is no proof to his connection to the look of knives alone he did have contraband so they finished there search and sent the evidence in. After finishing the searches they were outside Jason Pierce's room knowing it was a crime scene at this point they saw odd things in there. " detain Jason Pierce for a full psychiatric review we need to make sure he is not suicidal or somthing" He radios on there way back to the station.

He sat there staring at the man Jason. After his plea for mercy, Aron started to feel sorry for him, but he knew that plea meant that this man knew a key piece of evidence or at the least a secret he did not want revealed.

This guy knows excatly what we need and he dont tell us. What the [censored]!

"Look, I know you know something. SO [censored]ing say it. Look what ever you know what ever you did, I will try my best to make sure you don't get punished. You even asked the other Officer's out of the room, because you've got something to say and you don't want it on record. And I know your not a killer, why would you have taken me to the infirmary if you were the killer? Please just tell me everything you know. And then I can let you go."

It's getting worse.. Jason thought to himself, his entire body beginning to shake now. He needed to find a way to convince the officer to release him before the full affects of his pyromania took over.

"You re-release me n-now.." Jason managed to stutter, "I promise to g-give you th-the info l-later.."

He knows, something and I know it, why in God's name would I let him go. He won't give up and what we got him for is really not enough to detain him for more that a few days. I could follow him or have other officer's follow him. No, he will give me the information later. [censored], I'l release him.

"Fine your free to go. But when I want information your gonna give it to me. You got that! Huh, You got that."

He motioned toward the door, and sat down switching on his radio and then spoke through it saying, "Officer Wolf, this is Erlichman, are you done the security sweep, have you found anything. Tell me you've got info on this mother[censored] who killed the Officers."

Matthew Graver

As Officer Kendall was taking Matthew to the Chief's office two guards upon seeing Kendall drew their service weapons and ordered him to the ground. Once apprehended one of the men dragged Kendall off much to his surprise as he began hurling curses at the man. The second officer took Matthew to the Chief's office, since he wasn't there the men waited there until he returned.

Once Vault Security did a thorough search of his room Gordon traveled to the canteen where most of the vault population had been crammed. Several vault security officers went from person to person writing down what the citizens said. Gordon sighed as he sat at one of the folding tables awaiting his turn.

OOC: Hm. Not really sure how to proceed here. Wes was in his room sleeping so... I'd think the vault security searching his room would've noticed that. Oh well.

Wesley Hardin

While two officers apparently knew every inch of his room, and had begun searching it, Wes woke up and slipped out and made his way back a secret cache of goods and weapons he'd kept in case things got really hairy. Upon reaching the crematorium after slipping past a few more guards, Wes kicked open a crate labeled "Leftover Parts", causing a ball peen hammer as well as another switchblade, sharpened to a razor's edge like his last but a few inches longer, to spill out on the floor.

Stuffing the knife in his left boot, Wes slipped the hammer in his jacket pocket and pulled out a pack of cigarillos. The nights recent events had stressed him out but he couldn't risk someone smelling the burning tobacco, and simply stuck an unlit one in his mouth. He'd decided to make his stand in a small room juist opposite of the one with the oven, finding the narrow hallway to his liking. Worse case scenario he'd take a couple guards out before that put a bullet in his brainbox.

John returns to the station with his team and john begins to type up his reports on the computer, then submiting them to chief when he is done. Once he finished his last task he goes to the mess room and poors himself a cup of coffee he sits down and enjoys a cup. To him it seems like forever since he has been able to do that after he finishes his cup of coffee he heads towards the chiefs office.

Jason stumbled out of the interrogation room barely able to keep his eyes open. His entire body burned with an immense pain, his head throbbed so much he was unable to comprehend his own thoughts, and he could not stop shaking.

He fell to floor and, unable to stand up, crawled through the security wing as officers stared and laughed at him. One of the officers even kicked Jason as a joke and the entire wing roared with laughter at the poor mans pain. He kept crawling forward and the officers continued to mock him, following him all the way to the elevator. He quickly hit a key before any of the men could board and began throwing up. When he finished, Jason crawled out of the elevator, unaware of what floor he was on, and began to move forward.

The floor riddled with twists and turns and he had no idea where he was going, only that he needed to burn something quickly. Jason eventually reached a very narrow hallway and kept crawling forward, oblivious to the threat that lay ahead. As he reached the end, a lone man approached him and knelt at his side, Jason clueless as to his intentions. As he began to focus on the man's face, he realized who it was.

"W-w-Wesley," Jason mumbled, "H-h-help m-me," He finished, collapsing at the mans feet.

Wesley Hardin

Wes' knife was already out as he heard footsteps coming from down the hallway. Thinking it was the vault crime squad to come and put him down, he had his arm cocked back for a vicious thrust toward anyone who dared to step within kill-distance. Pausing after he realized it was the nutcase he'd briefly spoken to earlier, Wes stowed his blade and observed the man for a few moments. Realizing Jason was no immediate threat, he stuck each of his arms under the obviously worse-for-wear man's armpits, lifting him up as best he could.

After leaning him against a nearby wall, Wes retrieved his knife once more, though he didn't extend the blade. For now it's purpose was purely to add to Wes' intimidation factor. "What the hell are you doin' down here Jason? Tryin' to get stuck like a pig?" Wes cocked an eyebrow not really expecting a comprehensive response.

"Those vault pigs are on my scent now. Only a matter a time before the cavalry comes horns ablazing to take me down." Wes said as he extended the switch's blade and began picking his finger nails. "But uh, judging by what I saw earlier you're not exactly innocent. Guess we're in the same boat."

Wes took one more peak down the narrow corridor leading to the secluded room they both inhabited, then closed the door behind them. He hadn't planned on going down with anyone else at his side, but on the off chance he could convince Jason to fight along side him he might be able to kill one or two more then he'd initially planned.

"So, tell me Pyro. You any good in a fight?"

John at the chiefs door hears laughter in the main lobby. "wonder whats so funny" he mutters to himself. he continues to knock on the chiefs door and says "chief its Wolf if its ok may i come in?". hearing more laughter he turns again looking out towards the lobby again wondering whats going on.

After a few moments with no response he walks down the hall he hears the other officers still talking about Jason Pierce crawling on the floor. After hearing that he is taken back and says "none of you thought to see if he was ok?". He walks to the elevator and hits the button when the door opens he sees vomit on the floor thinking Jason needs help he goes down a floor and begins to look for him.
