OOC: I've got an idea.

Security Chief Kevin Hunter

Walking up to the Overseer's door the two guards stationed there saluted.

"Tell Goodwin I'm here to see him."

The leftmost guard turned depressing the intercom on the door. "Chief Hunter to see you Overseer."

"Send him in."

The guard released the intercom and pressed the button under it opening the door then motioning for the Chief to enter.

Crossing the threshold the chief began to sweat bullets as the door shut behind him. The Overseer sat with his head low, his fingers steepled, a disgusted look on his face. Walking towards the chair opposite to the Overseer's desk Chief Hunter sat down.

"In the last twenty four hours under your watch a security officer has been put in critical condition, a tech and another officer have been bludgeoned to death, and to top it off we have an additional officer who is missing. I should have you canned and jailed immediately but I'd like to give you the chance to plead your case.", Goodwin concluded darkly.

"I'll have this case closed by the end of the day and all parties associated will be punished to the full extent of the law, I guarantee it."

"Well, you've persuaded me. You have one day before I remove you from duty, Chief. Don't let me down!"

"Yes, Overseer."

Chief Hunter jumped from his seat and hastily left the room. Gripping his head as he walked he noticed Officer Valley escorting Graver. Upon noticing the Chief, Officer Valley walked over and began whispering into the Chief's ear.

Sir, we've found two bloody knives. One in the possession of Wesley Hardin the other in Officer Kendall's room. We've brought Kendall in for questioning just in case but I'm sure this is all Hardin.

Focusing his attention on Graver who looked rather bored by the whole situation Hunter felt sick about what he was going to ask. The answer worried him even more.

"Graver, did you leave your room anytime last night?"

"Yeah around 2 a.m. to take a piss, Why?"

"Was Kendall still there when you went?"

"Nope. That chump was nowhere in sight and if you don't believe me two citizens saw me come from the can."

The Chief listened to the words for some time mulling over whether he could trust a known liar and thief.

"Mr. Valley I will be interviewing Kendall myself you and Graver will watch from outside."

Making his way into interview room two the other two men waited outside. Officer Thomas looked up as the Chief entered and stood up allowing Kevin to sit down.

"Mr. Kendall, I'm sorry to have to ask this but are you responsible for all the crimes that have transpired recently."

The man now obviously shaken and terrified shook his head.

"Well we have evidence of the crime in your room add that to the fact Graver didn't see you outside his room when you were told to stand guard has me, questioning your innocence."

"I know I shouldn't have but I went to my room to get some sleep. I'm sorry Chief!

"You have no alibi, Mr. Kendall which leaves me worried." Where were you when Raleigh was attacked?"

"I-I-I was on guard duty near the living quarters."

"Right where the weapon to attack Raleigh was stolen. The case against you is mounting Mr. Kendall.

"N-No I had nothing to do with that."

"While all the evidence we've got right now is indeed circumstantial I'm going to have to place you under arrest until this matter is settled."

Officer Thomas went to where Kendall was sitting and lifted the man from his seat. Kendall used his arm to elbow Thomas in the groin knocking the wind out of him. Kendall then grabbed the ailing officer's weapon.

Before he could line up a shot the Chief had already put four slugs in the man. Stumbling back against the interview room wall Kendall attempted to lift the weapon up while clutching his chest. Chief Hunter expended every bullet in his clip which sent the man sliding to the ground a streak of blood going down as he went.

Jason Pierce

"So tell me Pyro. You any good in a fight?" Wesley asked. Jason, still barely conscious, pointed to a box nearby hoping Wesley would catch his drift. He did, went over and grabbed the box, then placed it next him. Jason immediately pulled out his lighter, flicked it on, and set the box aflame.

His eyes gleamed as he stared into the fire, all the pain from his body leaving him as he watched the flames rise, his eyes widened, and he could finally think straight. He inhaled the smoke from the fire, coughed a little, and turned towards Wes.

"I'm good at setting fires," He responded. "So, in a way, yes,"

Wesley Hardin

Wes eyed the man closely as he peered into the flame emitting from his lighter. Finding it the opportune moment, Wes stuck his unlit cigarillo into the fire until plumes of smoke filled the small room. "Mhm, I think we can probably work somethin' out, you and me." Wes said between puffs.

His nerves now put at ease, Wes began to go over the days events in his mind. He'd left one mess, and in trying to clean it up he left a far bigger one. Unless someone else was nailed for his actions that night, which was highly unlikely, he'd be dealt with with extreme prejudice.

Curious as to what exactly was going on up top, Wes flicked on his Pip-Boy only to notice a brief text message from one of his loyal customers, a young man by the name of James "Jimi" Walker. News spread like wild fire in what Wes liked to refer as "The Great Tin-Can", especially news pertaining to some [censored] getting perforated. According to the message one "Officer Kendall" had been pegged for his crimes and apparently tried to draw down on the Chief, earning him an early retirement of sorts.

It was as if some dark guardian angel decided to give Wes a pass on this one, though he'd probably still be under heavy suspicion by vault security. Turning to Jason, Wes pulled another slim cigar from the small box of them he kept and threw it to him, the mood to celebrate suddenly overpowering him.

"[censored], Jason. Seems things worked themselves out upstairs. I mean, it'll be hard for me to move anymore product for a while but hell... Once the heat dies down a bit I can start getting back to business. What would you say to helping me distribute my stuff when the time comes?" Wes said before taking a long drag off his cigarillo, which tasted like freedom at this point.

Jason Pierce

Jason caught the cigar, stuck it in his mouth, and lit it. He relaxed for a few much needed moments before responding to Wesley's proposition. "Looks like I'm finally off the hook.." Jason thought, "But can I really afford to get back on it?" He wondered, eying Wesley.

"As long as you don't mind having a insane pyromaniac helping you out," He said, taking a long huff of his cigar, "It would be an honor to work with such a well established criminal,"

Jason knew all about Wesley Hardin, his name sure got around, "But I need someone to keep me in line," He thought. Without Wes, Jason would most likely get himself killed within the next week, either from one of his "Blackouts", or his pyromania.

"Besides, this Janitorial bull [censored] makes my head spin. [censored] the G.O.A.T,"

Aron Erlichman

Aron sat alone at the bar. It was around midnight, but there was no way of telling that other than the digital clock mounted above the doorway. He had consumed two beers, two hard lemonades, and a few other assorted drinks. He was having a hard time coming to grips with the fact that Officer Kendall a man who had been in the Security team his entire life, had never caused any trouble, and never been convicted of assualt was beeing blamed for the recent bloodshed.

The whole Security are [censored] incompetent [censored].

Then he roared the same sentence out in to the open bar and tossed a tumbler towards the back of the bar smashing assorted bottle of alcohol. He laughed as the liquids dripped to the floor before sipping his third hard lemonade. He knew he should not have released Jason.

That [censored] know's something, if he'd just have told me then, we'd have the right guy.

He got out of his stool adn then picked it up, throwing it against the bar. Grabbing the next nearby stool he grabbed that in both of his hand's lifted it over his shoulders and swung it down on to the bar. He smashed it down three or four times before tossing it. The stool landed on a nearby table knocking and breaking the placing's. Dropping ration tickets on the bar, he turned and shuffled towards the doorway using the tables, chairs and walls for support. Upon leaving he headed for the Vault's designated Living Quarters, cursing all the way to his room.

Taking out his passcard, he fumbled with it for a few seconds before swiping it and gaining access to compartment. Once inside he changed into a fresh jumpsuit, and settled himself in his bed.

[censored] this Vault. The whole Security is incompetent, there is a killer on the loose and their is nothing I can do.

Security Chief Kevin Hunter

After leaving the room the Chief went directly towards the intercom to call off the lockdown.

"This is Chief Hunter the lockdown is over, everyone please return to your assigned duties, that is all.

Alexander Evans+Anne Miller:

Alexander and Anne ate their lunch at the cafeteria. Suddenly, the intercom went on

"This is Chief Hunter the lockdown is over, everyone please return to your assigned duties, that is all."

"Bout time." said Alex

"Alex, don't go over top with this, They might just initiate it again." Anne said. She was sitting next to Alex, he stroked her black hair

"Anne, I bet there's something out there, something beyond that steel door. They tell us that the world outside is uninhabitable, but I bet it is." Alex said, he was usually defiant like that.

"Alex...don't talk like that! The overseer might hear you." Anne whispered to him. She looked at the clock "Oh God, I have to go!" She got up, dumped her tray food into a trash can, placed her tray on the tray drop off, and ran out of the cafeteria. Alex pulled out a journal.

Journal Entry 22:

God, Anne has been acting so strange since she started taking those doctor classes. She thinks that the Overseer knows all. He doesn't know crap! When I ask him about the world outside, he says "Oh, well, er, thats another story." and walks off. Then the Security Chief calls of the Lockdown, [censored] him! I don't care if there was a lockdown in the first damn place, It doesn't matter if there is one, we still do our average tasks. God, I wish we could go outside, coped up in a vault isn't all its cracked up to be....

Adam Clement--His room

"This is Chief Hunter the lockdown is over, everyone please return to your assigned duties, that is all. "

The grainy voice buzzes over the P.A system.

"Duties?"He huffs to no one in paticular, "Can't exactly do anything now, can I?" He spits rudely. Adam sits up from his bed and green sheets and flexes his muscles. The metal floor is cool against his naked feet, the warm glow of the light providing only light.

Let's roll.

He slips the gray shirt over his head, along with the jumpsuit. Bloody vault, bloody murder, bloody lockdown, bloody people. . .

"Puh! Damn everything!" He hisses, as he presses the glowing green button of his door. It disappears into its frame, and he, behind the corridor. Adam walks towards the elevator, presses yet another button and waits for the doors to open.

Security Chief Kevin Hunter

With his announcement complete the Chief retired to his quarters to sulk as he was certain he had saved his own hide by solving the case. But felt that the true killer had escaped justice. Sitting at his desk he hung his head as he collected his bottle of bourbon. Pouring himself a drink he hoped it would help ease his conscious.

Gordon Jacobs

Leaving the canteen shrugging his shoulders, Gordon made his way down to Level six to check on the water purifier. Upon reaching the chamber he saw Henry the Mr. Handy already hard at work. Looking down Gordon realized he had forgotten something.

"Damn! Thanks to being questioned earlier I forgot my toolbox. Be right back Henry!", Gordon called to the robot as he left the room making his way to the elevator.

Matthew Graver

Watching the scene unfold before his eyes actually for a moment had him feeling remorse. Shaking it off he watched Kendall stumble over his answers making the Chief more suspicious. Then the unthinkable happened Kendall struck the other guard in the room and grabbed his weapon. Kendall hollered some nonsense and the Chief opened fire killing the goody-two-shoes. Once it was over Hunter left the room an empty look on his face.

Shrugging Matthew left the view window deciding to have some breakfast since he was still off duty.

Aron Erlichman

Aron left the paper on the desk at the entrance of the Vault Security Offices. It was the about noon and no one appeared to be around. He left the note on the secretary’s desk, expecting someone to find it eventually. The note he had left stated that he was taking a vacation from his duties after the events that had transpired. He turned to leave and headed to the stairs, where he proceeded down and walked briskly to the canteen, his ration coupons held loosely in his hand.

The door was open and noise flooded out of the entrance. Many people were inside seated at their tables and booths eating their lunch. The lockdown had basically been over but Chief Hunter had yet to officially announce the end of the lockdown.

He approached the server and handed over his ration tickets. The lady working behind the server put mac and cheese on his plate and a bottle of water. He walked past some tables and booths looking for somewhere to sit. The people around him where having a good time, he laughed to himself. Sinister events had transpired and he knew the wrong man had been apprehended, but the people did not care, they just wanted to continue on with their lives. He was beginning to realise he could no longer trust the Overseer and the rest of the Vault.

Then he heard a man say "Anne, I bet there's something out there, something beyond that steel door. They tell us that the world outside is uninhabitable, but I bet it is."

Aron grabbed a chair and sat it down at the two people’s table.

“You think it’s true, the rumors about there being things outside of the Vault? The Overseer saying it’s not possible to go out? Can we even trust him and the Vault after what happened these past few days?”

The End

The brave men and women who prospered within Vault 110 went back to their normal duties after the Lockdown, unaware of the oncoming threats.

The following weeks, things spun into chaos within the Vault. A revolution lead by Jason Pierce and Wesley Hardin ensued, followed by many of the vaults citizens rising up against the Overseer. The Raiders were finally able to brake into the Vault, wreaking havoc among the already disorganized and weakened Vault Dwellers.

The ending days of Vault 110 we're full of blood, murder, and sacrifice.

Gordon Jacobs

When the Raiders were finally able to reach Gordon within his hiding place in the Vault Reactor, he made a brave sacrifice to save his Fiancée. He blew the reactors core, killing himself and many of the raiders along with him. The Fiancée was later captured and turned into a slave.

Matthew Graver

The Chief of Security, Mathew Graver, was killed outside his own office on the first day of the onslaught. Fifteen or more Raiders surrounded his door, and without any means of escape, he made one final last stand. He pulled his pistol and emerged, killing at least seven of the men before finally being shot down in a haze of bullets.

Alexander Evans & Anne Miller

The first members of the resistance, Alexander Evans was tasked with talking security into siding with them against the Overseer, while Anne was tasked with healing whatever members of the Resistance who we're injured. Alex was shot down and upon entering the Security wing, defenseless, and Anne, thanks to her hard work, was almost able to escape with Jason and Wes. Almost.

However, when the time came, the two betrayed her, and she was sold off to slavers in the Wasteland.

Jason Pierce & Wesley Hardin

The leaders of the Resistance, they were one of the few able to escape the hell within the Vault. When the two men reached the outside, they sold off there companion, Anne, to slavers for quick cash. However, the twos story did not end there.

Jason and Wes went on to be the fiercest duo of killers the Wasteland had ever encountered. They performed everything from simple Heists to the murdering of entire towns. They were well known across the entire wasteland and struck fear into the hearts of many.

However, their deeds and crimes eventually caught up with them. A group of Regulators consisting of over 30 members cornered the men. Without any other options, they decided to go out with a bang. They loaded a single sub-urban house with over 100 sticks of dynamite and twenty packages of C4, ambushing the Regulators when they swarmed the house.

Upon detonation, Jason and Wesley were both exterminated, along with twenty-seven of the regulators.

Angine Hunders

Angine was one of the last to be captured. She had spent many days running and hiding all around Vault 110, but was eventually the same child that she had spoken with many weeks ago. However, the child showed no intention of mercy, and she was sacrificed as his initiation into the gang.

Simon Miller

Simon, trapped within his own kitchen, was forced to set up a defensive barrier along with the other staff. They held their own, outgunned and outnumbered. One by one they each fell to their demise until only Simon was left. Without any hope of survival, he slit his own throat to avoid capture.

Antony Sakin

The doctor was captured and turned into the raiders personal medic. He was forced to heal each one of them until his old age. Unable to assist them any longer, the Doctor was tortured mercilessly, then killed.

Adam Clement

Adam was able to escape Vault 110 before the Raider attack with other members of the Resistance and eventually became a Courier within the Wasteland. No one really knows what happened to him after that..

Aron Erlichman & John Wolf

Aron and John stood alongside their fellow Security officers and fought of the onslaught to the best of their abilities. They held formation within the security wing for Ten days and Ten nights, withstanding everything the raiders threw at them.

When the Raiders stopped engaging, they hoped the worst was over. The officers broke formation and proceeded to escape the vault. However, the Raiders would not let their prey escape them so easily, and had wired the entire vault to blow upon departure. When they set foot within the exit chamber, over one hundred plastic-explosives were set off within the vault, burying anyone still alive under the weight of the rubble, and sealing the entrance to Vault 110, for good.

And so, the memories of Vault 110 faded into the wind. Their stories, left untold, and their lives, sacrificed. Before long, the rumors of Vault 110 were lost in history, and forgotten.
