Caine couldn't help but smile as he watched Ryan leave through the vents grate. Disabling the Mr. Handy he referred to as "Rob" might prove to be difficult though. He struggled to reach into his back pocket and retrieve his switchblade, but managed to do it quietly, as not to alert the robot prematurely. He began unscrewing the bolts holding the vent in place, planning on how he'd take out the Handy below him quickly and quietly. This would be difficult considering mechanics weren't really his thing, nor robotics.
He hadn't noticed any other patients in the med bay, but then again he didn't bother to check. Anyone stupid enough to get in his way would be another corpse he'd simply step over.
Figuring killing a machine couldn't be much different then killing a man, Caine quickly jumped down and rushed Rob, charging into it with his shoulder, causing it to spin almost comically and smash against the wall behind it. He quickly rushed the automaton with his switchblade, jabbing out it's primary sensors with his blade and following through with another jab to it's communication center out of shear luck, hoping that would at least delay the warning from being sent. All he needed was a few minutes afterall...
Unsatisfied with the damage done to Ryan's metal buddy, Caine shifted his entire body weight into a round house kick, sending the hovering bot across the room and into the wall opposite him. Sparks flew everywhere and Rob's metal frame fell to the floor, remaining completely still.
His biggest problem out of the way Caine started toward Jimmy first, tossing his blade back and forth between hands and smiling wildly. "Hey buddy... Betcha thought you'd never see me again! Yeah, I'm surprised they haven't locked me up either... But look on the bright side, now I get to slice your throat!", Caine said in a disturbing upbeat tone.
Without hesitation he gripped Jimmy's hair with his left hand, yanking his head upward and exposing his neck completely. He then drew the blade across his throat slowly, cutting deeply and severing the teenagers carotid artery. The boy instantly awoke and grabbed at his neck, falling off the bed he was sleeping on and squirming on the floor for a few seconds. Blood completely painted the Med Bay's floor by now, covering Caine's shoes in the sanguine liquid.
"One down... Now, about our last conversation Kyle..." Caine said as he used a rag to clean off his blade and started toward victim number 2. He lifted Kyle up by his collar, slamming him against the same wall he kicked the Mr. Handy into. Kyle now pinned against the wall, Caine gripped him by a tuft of hair as well, slamming his head against the wall several times until grey matter began oozing out the back of his head. In that instant Caine had succumbed to years of pint up rage, and it showed.
Caine had to stop for a moment and regain his composure, he was hyperventilating at this point. Getting back to his good old self, he quickly pulled an operating table toward him and climbed on top of it, jumping up and climbing into the air shaft once again. Whoever saw this scene would never forget it, not even Caine himself would. As far as getting the deed done quickly and quietly, Caine had managed to do the former but not the latter. The entire ordeal would've been easy to hear by someone a few rooms away, or even down the hall not to mention anyone residing in the Med Bay.
