some weird black dome is covering it and the elevator platform is lowered a few feet. when I press the button and stand on it it fades to the black loading screen w/o the sound effect and never loads up. whats weird is it lets me bring up the menu during the loading screen so I can load up a previous save.

p.s. the closest save without the glitch will set me back over 20 hours.

p.s.s I think I figured out that its tied to changing the spawn point at sanctuary.
