1) iPhone 6 Plus

3) updated app which locked up app, then deleted and reinstalled ??

4) App Store update which took many attempts to install.


So, my vault is gone now with seemingly no hope for recovery. Unless by some miracle Bethesda has some way to help people like me who's update went wacko. I should have known when it took multiple attempts to get the update to even fire correctly that I should have been extra cautious. Had no chance to turn on cloud backup as update was messed up.


I had trouble with the app locking after update. I could not get anything to work so I deleted the app and tried to restore it thinking it would behave as other apps I have had and keep the data. That did not occur.


I then tried some steps to recover the data from a backup and it over-wrote my backup in the process and now that data is lost.


Now, My vault is gone and all attempts to recover it brought me nothing. Wasted money and quite a few hours playing since release. Had half my 200 vault dwellers max stats, 410 out of 535 on Game Center for whatever that is worth, more importantly money spent on lunch boxes, lots of junk from roaming the wastelands and cannot bring myself to start over.
