My Vault Is Gone.

I have had this vault for a long while now. I was nearing 200 Dwellers. I had enough power, food, water, and chems to just walk away for a day if I wanted to without worrying about my Dwellers in and out of the vault. It was a smooth running machine that I put a LOT of time into.

BUT NOW IT'S GONE.

I walked away for only 2 hours, opened the app to check on the Dwellers that were supposed to be back from their adventures soon, and it wanted me to start a new vault. I checked the vault list and all three slots are empty.

I tried restarting my tablet and that didn't help. I keep going back to it every few mins to check to see if it's still gone. It's not on the Cloud. I don't think I ever saved it to the Cloud since that is a relatively new feature. The game would lag every now and then when I dragged a Dweller, but I found a work around for that. I'm logged into the right Google Play account.

I really don't want to make a new vault because it took so very long to get where I was. I had a system that took me a month to develop after my first 5 vaults all died out. I seriously feel like I'm about to cry out of frustration. I never paid for anything in the game as I was waiting to get 500 Dwellers first.

What can I do? Is it lost for good? I'll wait a day to see if it somehow comes back, but this is very upsetting. Of my friends, I was the farthest along and felt pretty proud of that. Haha.

In the meantime, I'll be off playing Fallout 3.

If you didn't save it to the cloud as soon as that feature became available, the loss is your fault.

Also, as an aside, 200 dwellers is the cap. You can't get 500.

There was never an option to save it to the Cloud, so I'm guessing it must have done it automatically. It notified that my game would be saved to the Cloud when I logged on after the update. I didn't know if I had to save it every time I played though.

It's been working fine up until about an hour ago. In the lore it says that vaults could hold 500-1000 people, so I assumed the same about the app game. I hadn't even used half of the space available underground for my vault, expecting to get that many Dwellers. :/

The cloud save feature is something you had to enable once it was available. You go into the vault list and tick the box beside the vaults you want to cloud save.
