Ian faces Blide and says,Ian: Hey, sorry 'bout that "knock you over, I'm gonna shoot you" thing. I promise that I won't be going "shoot first, talk later" any more. As a sign of friendship, take this bracer I had made.
Ian takes out a small armguard with what looks like a chromed, very shiny metal candybar on it. The candybar has a CRT screen covering most of the top side, showing 100 pips lined up in a line. Ian explains what it shows.Ian: The screen shows a bar...
Ian fits the bracer tightly onto Blide's left arm, and continues explaining.
Ian: That continuously monitors your overall health and shows it as a bar on the screen when you get hurt for example, the bar decreases an amount of pips relative to the amount of damage. So for example, if you are only a little injured, the bar will be mostly full. If you're very seriously injured, the bar will be close to emptying. once the bar is empty, you are dead. This makes it easy to keep track of your stamina and health. Not as good as our Pipboys, but it's good. It also shows rad level, by changing the colour of the bar on the screen. Green if you're mostly healthy, yellow if you're mildly irradiated, orange if you're moderately irradiated, and red if you're severely irradiated. For example, your screen shows that you're moderately irradiated, since it's orange. And just in case you're gonna wander in a hot area, there's a grille in the side for ventilation. Oh, and I almost forgot. Never try to rat us out or betray us. I will know every move you're doing, and if you do betray us, I will personally tell all your assassins and your enemies where you are and where to shoot to kill you in the most painful way. Now, go have a nice day.
Ian gives him a friendly pat on the back, and returns to standing some distance away from the vault. Ian takes his gun out and starts looking around for anything else. then he spots yet another person crouching in the shadows some distance off, and Ian mutters something rude to himself, as he fires. The gun goes off with a loud bang, and hits the tree trunk next to the shadowed person, dangerously close to his head, enough to rustle his hair and snuff out the stranger's cigarette. Ian holsters his gun again and shouts,Ian: Are you another one?
{OOC: There's something else with the gift to Blide, but I won't reveal it. Ryan, you have been "forcibly" introduced to the story!
