Jason looks at Abram.
Jason: Thanks, that was close.
Graves hears Ian and shouts to the rest of the survivours.
Jason: Alright! Everyone group up, I know this is frightening but we have no other choice. Ian's figuring out where we are right now, we will soon move out of here, possibly to a small town to seek shelter. Get ready because its probably going to be a long walk, the worse part of this is over.
The Overseer comes walking from out of the crowd, stands infront of Jason and adresses everyone.
Overseer: Vault Dwellers! Fear not for your safety! We will return to the Vault as soon as the gasses have dispersed, we will return to our lives like they were before. Dispite what the Captain here said, we will stay here infront of the Vault and wait for the all clear. We will move back in at once.
Jason can't believe his ears. He grabs the Overseer by the shoulder and turns him around. He speaks to the Overseer on a tone that seems private, but so that everyone can hear.
Jason: Now you listen to me, in there you might have been someone, out here you're nothing. These people are now free to do what they wish, and if we stay here, we won't make it through the night, who knows what's out here. Plus, the roaches will eventually make their way out of the Vault and if that doesn't get us , the gasses that will spread out will kill everyone in the vecinity of the Vault. So, I advise you shut up and follow someone that know's what he is doing or you get the hell out of my sight.
The Overseer looks at Jason Graves with frightened eyes, knowing he's right.
The Overseer: You dare speak like this to me!? Guards shoot this man and the others he's with.
The guards stand motionless. The Overseer heratically screams out one more time at the security officers but they do not respond. Jason looks at the Overseer with pitty and so does everyone else. The overseer steps back into the crowd, but the crowd moves away, leaving an open corridor for him.
The Overseer: You'll all regret this!
The Overseer then leves the big group and heads out on his own, haeding for a small town seen in the far off distance.
