Vault Modder's Resources?

Post » Wed Feb 23, 2011 6:45 am

Does anyone know if there are any decent vaults created by modders to be used as a resource? I have an idea for a vault mod, but interior designing is not my strongest point so having at least part of a vault interior to start with would be nice. I'd prefer not copying any of the vanilla ones. It would be nice if it had some halls/rooms and an entrance done already, the interior decorating/cluttering is not important (most would be deleted anyway). Pretty basic stuff.

Also is there any list of the available modders resources somewhere?

Thanks! :foodndrink:

Edit: Found some things. In case anyone else is interested in creating a vault, here's some useful stuff:

I had a look at the screenshots, and it looks pretty good. I'll see if it'll work for what I had in mind. Thanks! :)

Woah, it's big. Very big. Maybe too big. :D

And a bit unfinished here and there, and way more space than I could possibly ever need, but I think if I cut out a few areas I can work this out. Interesting. Thanks!

Two of the cells are just filled with generic rooms of every type. So it is easy to grab rooms or hall pieces, piece them together, and in short order you can have a new vault. Each piece contains lighting and rudimentary clutter. There are variations of most room types as well.

hehe jap its huge and you will have to make some doors inacessable and fix some minor stuff. Just cut off what you don't need, its a good resource.

I think I'll use most of the original vault by itself, while cutting out a couple of areas. And adding fast travel around the vault. :P

Still a bunch of bugs here and there, but the time lost fixing those is nothing compared to the time it would cost me to build something like this myself. Scratch that, I would never be able to. It's a fantastic piece of work. Hopefully I can use it it to its full potential.

I got a West-Coast style vault but it's not cluttered completely. It also lacks textures for vault numer (my vault is 79).

I've decided to take Vault 88, but thanks! :)

After I finish my Oblivion mod I can really get this project started. I'll be sure to post a WIP thread when I've made some progress if things work out. :wavey:
