Zalphon took off his helmet and said to Josh, "I like you kid, how about a drink... You like Nuka-Cola or do you prefer alcohol?"

Perhaps he could be more useful if I earned his trust and not his fear.

Zalphon smiled as he threw Josh a bag of fifty caps.

Zalphon looked at Tyler and said calmly, "Calm down, I would never hurt you guys, just trying to inspire a little fear that most people aren't like me, most people are killers, cold-blooded, black-hearted, murderers. Let me see your gun and then I need to see Josh's, I can probably hook you guys up with a couple laser pistols or hunting rifles if you want."

Tyler may have to go down, but for now I will watch him.

Tyler stuttered, " Sssure, here you go. I've never used a gun before by the way..." He handed the man his gun.
"I thought you were actually going to fight us for a minute there. Did you mention that I could get a hunting rifle, that would be swell."

Tyler turned round to look at Josh and at the corner of Tylers eyes he could swear he saw the man give him a dark look.

Zalphon hands back the gun and heads over to the craterside supply. He says to Moira Brown, "2 hunting rifles, 24 .32 rounds, and two radiation suits."

Moira Brown hands Zalphon these things and then he puts the caps on the counter and says, "Farewell, Moira..."

Zalphon comes back holding two hunting rifles, both loaded with twelve rounds and he hands one to Tyler and one to Josh and two radiation suits and he hands one to Tyler and one to Josh.

I need to keep these two safe and alive, they sell for more tha... Actually, maybe I could have them as my bodyguards.

Zalphon grinned and handed over the radiation suit and asked, "Come with me, I want to talk buisness with you, if you want to make some caps, this is your opportunity."

Tyler thought about the offer, Better than just sitting here.
"Thank you stranger I'd like to make some caps. Wait a minute, what's your name?"

Josh followed Zalphon "I would like some alcohol vodka preferibly not nuka cola" said Josh. "And thank you for the caps"

This guy seems starange but as long as he likes me I think I will be safe

"I'm tired. I'm hungry. Where's Megaton? Is it close? Is that it?" Jessie asked repeatedly. She had to know she was annoying.

"It's right here, Jess. Now please, just be courteous to everyone we see. We can't risk getting a bad name. And not all people grew up like us, so they won't take kindly to a random person hugging them, I'm sure. So just follow my lead." Maric said in a authoritative tone.

They walked for about another hour or so until they reached Megaton. Jessie complained continuously about it's appearance, but it was for the sole purpose of conversation. You see, Maric didn't like talking while walking. But he was always like that. Always watching from every angle.

"Look, Jessie, we need to find somebody to help us through the cit...." Maric said, but was cut off.

"Look, it's Tyler! Hey, TYLER!!" Jessie yelled, and started running towards him.


Maric didn't like the look of the one in the large suit of armor. Now my main priority is to keep Jessie safe, not just myself... And with that he too, ran towards Tyler.

Tyler heard someone shout his name, he looked over.
"Maric!" Happiness burst through Tyler. He ran towards Maric and a girl called Jessie. He usually liked to chat to them both in the vault. He didn't expect them to leave the vault though.
When Tyler reached them he said, "I'm so glad to see you two! I thought I would know nobody here! How have you been? I'm so glad you're here I've been waiting for somebody to come!"
Tyler was almost in tears.

Josh turned around and asked Tyler "Who the hell are theses guys people from the vault, and are you going to cry"

Tyler put himself together and said to Josh, "No I'm fine... I just..." Tyler burst into tears. He sat down and turned into hysterics.

Maric looked at Josh and said, "He does that from time to time..."

"Yeah you sure look fine" chuckled Josh.
Josh continued to laugh.
"So is the girl your girlfreind" asked Josh.

Oh look, a commotion, something interesting happened in this cesspool! Alex walked towards the small group, re-interrupting everyone. "Excuse me, what the hell are you people doing so grouped up together? Crying and having a joyous moment? I'm not one to be a dike, but people around here don't think highly of lots of commotion." He watched as a few Megaton settlers walked past them.

"Look, people are sooner or later going to suspect us of something, that we might be raiders or trying to detonate the bomb. You all might wanna go somewhere private to have this..moment."

"Hey shut up and mind your own buisness we will have this conversation anywere we want" said Josh.

Wow you cannot have a fricking conversation in this damn place!

"I've been better, Tyler." Maric said.

"And I feel awesome now that we found you!" Jessie said ecstatically.

Then a man came and told them to take it somewhere else.

"I agree with this man. Leave us alone, please." Maric said.

Tyler finally took hold of himself and sneered at the mean man, "And you might wanna shut up and less us alone!"

He looked at Jessie, "I feel awesome that I've met you too! Dam how did Maric get so lucky? You look great!"

"Well that answers my question and nice to meet you two the name is Josh" Josh raised his arm to shake hands with Maric and Jessie.

"Don't be rude, guys!" Jessie said. "But seriously, leave please."

"Tyler, I wouldn't call it lucky..." Maric answered, but as he said it, Jessie punched his arm. "....I would call it blessed? Yeah, blessed!" He finished. He was going to wait until the new man had made a move to say anything else.

But then, Josh extended his hand. Maric shook his hand and said, "Maric, Maric Burry. I was the overseer's son from Vault 34. And this is Jessie, the 'self proclaimed' princess of the Vault." Then Jessie refused his hand, and instead gave him a big hug.

"Dammit Jessie! What did I tell you about the hugging thing?"

Tyler laughed as Jessie hugged Josh and at Maric for complaining.
"Josh I would stick with you and Zalphon but I better stick with Maric and Jessie first. You know, just so I know this place a bit better. Then I will meet you again sometime I suspect."

"Now wait just a minute, Tyler. Let's talk with everyone over by that saloon, and we can figure what to do. That, and I'm dying for some Whiskey." Maric said. And with that, he set up, hoping everyone would follow.

OOC: I think we should wait and let Zalphon post again, just to be fair. So until he does, please don't post guys.

IC: Zalphon says to Josh, "Follow me, if you like money, you'll like my deal..."

If he agrees then he shall be a very useful follower...If he doesn't...well...Im sure Littlehorn and Associates have no problems taking this guy out.

"Yeah I will be right with you just give me a second" Said Josh. He walked over to Tyler "Hey Tyler I have to go see you around some other time but i may have a really good buisness move with this guy so see ya later" said Josh.
He walked back to Zalphon "Lets go" said Josh.

Zalphon walked away and asked to Josh, "I need a guard, you want the job?"

He then added, "If you don't I am sure I can persuade you..."

"Depends what's in it for me" Asked Josh.

As long as I get caps and food I am up for it

Zalphon grinned as he said, "For now 500 caps a month, a suit of power armor, and a plasma rifle, my bodyguards are armed in only the finest..."

Zalphon added, "I am an old crimelord, and am looking for a few recruits, you'll be my chief of security...understood?"

Perhaps he will help me...

"Now you know how to make a deal, now about the drinks i'd like some vodka" said Josh.

500 caps, power armor and a plasma rifle this is going to be a good arrangment
