OOC: I know I am not involved in this, but maybe he has dropped this RP? The posts are short and bland. Just saying that maybe he has dropped this and decided it's more trouble than it's worth.

OOC: i'd like to think a few of us where putting in the effort... and i thought this was going so well

This roleplay will fail without direction, which means whoever you feel is the most dedicated should take over if Erandur is no longer present in the roleplay.

OOC: I could roll up a character and give it a shot. If that's ok with our current roleplayers. I've got an idea for this RP if you guys want me.

This is a persistant and always has been a problem on these RP forums.
There are a few good and subtle Role Players who are a good charicter whilst not obstructing the GM from controlling the story.
However a vast majority of internet role players are new or nieve and thus are too Gung-Hoe, bringing in obstructive side plots or 2nd adgendas.

I think personally a few charicters need to either be pruned back. (Removing strange side plots such as the assasination attempt on zoey which is crazy to say the least.)
Or all together dug out like I our friend who attempted to join, and immidiately RPed his charicter offering money and lots of power to a 2nd charicter if he would go on a quest with him, who I PMed nicely to change his post due to it damaging the RP.

But yeah without a GM it wont go far.
I suggest the story freezes here.
We decided on the most promenant charicter to have a important reason to leave Megaton.
We then decide which charicters should stay in with or without changes and then we make a new thread carrying on from their.

My personal oppinion as to the above would be Adam of morrowind's charicter who wants to go to rivit city.
If he can come up with a convincing reason as to why, and then maybe convince the vault settlers that they wold have a better life in Rivit City we could have a rather good RP journey to Rivit City.
Thats just my oppinion.

OOC: i agree with psymple, im quite new to roleplaying but have found it fun and hope i havnt been part of the destruction, Zalphon seems like an experianced roleplayer also so if he wants to whip up a carachter and lead us all with an RP idea i havnt got a problem with that but its not just my desicion, however in new said thread there needs to be ruls layed down for exapmle not posting less than a paragraph or somthing like that, its when there is two or thre line posts that really start to slow things so what does everyone else think?

Biography: Thomas was born in a family of scientists. He lived on the west coast as a child. When he was six, they moved to Rivet City. Eventually his family went to an old abandoned military base to study, while he stayed. They were killed by deathclaws that inhabited the old base. After that he was forced to live on his own. He worked for Flak and Shrapnel for several years, earning enough to get by.

He scrapped a lot with the other young children of Rivet City, he usually won, until someone pulled a knife. Due to this he learned how to do first-aid and use stimpacks. A rich kid used his laser rifle on him once. Thomas used his switchblade and killed him. He took the kid's combat armor vest and laser rifle. On his fifteenth birthday he was exiled from Rivet City for killing a gambler who cheated him out of five-hundred caps.

Thomas arrived in Megaton not to long after and has noticed recently there have been some travellers. He plans to meet these travellers and hopefully unite them under his leadership. His goal is to take down the slavers and the raiders of the Wasteland.

Rules I Think Are Good:

I will lead the group, but will be open to side-plots (as long as they make sense).
Every post must be at least a paragraph (4-6 sentences).
No Ubering
No killing other players
No stealing from other players

OOC: Dammit guys. I'm sick of this. I get off for 1 day and we are on page 7? Jesus! And Sannes, I don't need your damn comments, and quite frankly, if you don't like the RP, then don't post here. I'm not even gonna bother posting now, because it will be a post saying something I'll probably regret later. Regardless, the RP is closed to new members, but I'm going to let Zalphon in. He's experienced and he was in the old RP.

That being said, every side plot is here-by gone. No assassinations, no nothing. There is now a 2 post limit. That means that you can only post 2 times before everyone else posts, meaning if you post once, then reply to someone, you must wait until EVERYONE has the chance to post. (1 day) Is everyone o.k. with this? Because if you're not, then it's just too bad.

EDIT- Also, I'm sorry I'm not on all the time. I'm in college, and it's hard to balance this with all my other things. So give me a break.

One last thing; Some of the newer RPer's, you need to learn not to powerplay. Like, knocking out a woman? I had a plan on where to go with that, but because of someone taking control of her, and my character, it was ruined. I know I'm to blame; I should have been here, but don't take control of other players. Period. One more time and you're gone.

One more EDIT- I know where we are going next, I'm just going to let everyone get a chance to see the new rules and things. If I'm ever gone for a while, from now on, I'll be sure to tell you guys and let someone control my character.

Erandur. Its been at least a week and a half. I'm sorry your in college and everything, but you have to be able to dedicate to it if you start it. Also, if you introduce a third actor, he is able to be controlled by everyone if you let it trail off. You left it as an open decision for people to make as far as what to do by letting it hang there.

I vote Zalphon host, and I can cohost for him. Because I probably know more about whats going on in this RP than you do. I say we all go to Rivet City.

How can I make this clearer? Zalphon is NOT going to be the host, and you are NOT going to be the co-host. End of story. I know what we are doing, where we are going, and what' going to happen.

OOC: for one that woman wasnt knocked out she was punched very hard, other people seemed to get this misconception that i had knocked her out and two no one had any idea that you had a story for that, i appreciate you cant post as much as others and that is fine but surley you could of wrote a longer post implicating you had plans as to what happened was going to lead to. im not having a go just passing comment and also sanne's is very entiteled to his opinoins again just a friendly comment not trying to start and argument, if you are going to caryy this on might i suggest a list of Rp'ers in this RP also seeing as Zalphon offered his help maybe you should consider letting him/her in if he/she would like to join, but keep the amount of rp'ers to a decent amount so its not crazy and we arent keeping track of too many people

IC: So much had happened. Maric had been dragged in by a psychopathic girl, thinking they weren't from a Vault... But that's all he really remembered. He was knocked unconscious when he was thrown to the ground, and now everyone had gone. It was like nothing ever happened.

Someone had apparently tried to help him up, but he was still out of it. He walked out of the saloon, holding his head, as he saw Jansen and Zoey heading outside the gate. He decided he should probably stick with them, as all the new people were doing their own thing.

"Hey, wait up!" Maric yelled, running up towards them. "What the hell happened back there?" he asked, as he caught up with them.

OOC: Erandur-Vangaril has made me a co-host, so let there be no confusion. He is in charge, while I am his assistant.

IC: Thomas noticed the man chasing the two. He jogged over with his laser rifle drawn. The heat was causing beads of sweat to roll down his forehead. The stench of sweat was heavy on him. The man he saw chasing them asked a question to his companions. "Back there isn't what you should be afraid of," he hissed. "I want some answers why you were chasing these two, unless you want laser burns and an early coffin." His breath smelled of alcohol, not more than a sip of beer, but it still tinted his breath.

Thomas frowned as he aimed his rifle at Maric's face. The rifle was old and had taken a beating, but it could still kill Maric with one pull of the trigger. Thomas looked over and saw Lucas Simms rushing over. "What in the hell are you doing, Tom," he asked.

"This guy was chasing those two," he pointed to the two Maric was running after. "I can handle it, Sheriff." The Sheriff nodded and walked away.

Don't kill this punk, Tom, not unless he was initiating a fight or trying to do worse things to that girl.

"Thats why i got this scarf, goggles and other stuff... now hold on i gotta go see where this Maric is..." he exclaims

Robert walked over to hear shouting by a Man named Tom, holding his laser rifle to Marics head, he sees Lucas, the Rushes over to Tom and Maric,

"Stand down Thomas... those people he was chasing, those are his friends Zoey and Jansen, now STAND DOWN! Lucas, Maric is innocent, you know, he came up to you when they arrived here yesterday afternoon..." he shouts,
"Robert's right Tom, now put down the the gun..." Lucas says. "Robert why are you in the Fixer get-up again, i thought that part of your life was over!" he asks
"Long story short im going back into the wastes... before you ask questions now is not the time..." Rob asks while pointing his silver metaled revolver at Thomas.
"Now stand down Thomas, he aint the bad guy..." he says while hosltering his gun.
