Vault Suit

considering the atomic age setting, pre-war culture and the fact the suits apparently don't rot much, i'm more along the lines of "nylon" or "perlon" than "cotton" or "latex" actually (which would also explain the suits' high color saturation, don't think they could get this on cotton with what color was available in that area)

I really couldn't care less about what was in the original games, regarding this sort of thing. The suit in FO4 looks like it was painted onto him. I don't like that look. I prefer FO3/NV because it looks like someone could actually get it on without really struggling.

I agree with everyone who mentioned The Ass. The Ass makes FO4 objectively better.

TBH, if i lived in vault 101 I would rather that more loose fitting jumpsuit as it is something yo wear every single damn day. That being said, I do like the looko the vault suit in F4 regradless of the fact of the originals.

I'm really not extremely knowledgeable in regards to synthetic clothing.

F4 suit.

- more modern and sci-fi look rather than canvas one piece jump suit.

- fits better on the theme of alternate universe rather than our world

- looks cool

The new one looks great but jumpsuit from F3/NV also look really nice. The new one wins.

I wonder if in Fallout 4 those jumpsuit will be some kind of underwear which remains always under a real armor? No... it's a stupid idea...

I like both, as a matter of fact i dislike the original suit because it was literally as close to superhero spandex that you can get which seemed silly to me. FO3's Vault Suit felt believable and realistic while FO4's seems "advanced" with internal padding which is also cool

I think it would be pretty sweet to be able to have both variants, if not more.

Each vault could have a slightly different style to it.

Mechanic Jumpsuit
Skin tight
Something more akin to the Boomers

Etc

It's pretty cool that they looked at the originals to bring back the design of the Vault suit in Fallout4.

Also, the power armor is now a walking tank like it's meant to be.

This gives me hope that bethesda really delved deep into the Fallout universe to make a good game;
