As stated: Do you prefer Spandex Vault suits or Coverall style Vault suits?

Some reasons may not be so obvious to some people, feel free to expand on that thought.

Which jobs are easier in which suit?

To make it realistic you get an spandex suit only if you roll an fat character.

Cover-all, always thought the spandex suits looked silly and cartoony... which it does in the trailer.

I actually have no specific preference either way.

I like the coverall style in FO3 and NV, but I also liked the way the vault suits looked in F1 and F2 and the trailer for FO4.

This might actually be some nice canon nodding by Bethesda. We see the coverall style vault suits in Vaults that have existed for a long time - 150-200+ years. They have likely been repurposed, patched, and passed down many times. If our protagonist - the player - in FO4 was frozen as soon as they entered a Vault in 2077, they would have one of the original spandex style suits.

Spandex. Only because there was no option for "don't care", because I never really cared about the Vault suits.

Yeah I agree i do not really care either way, thats why i didn't respond. We only end up wearing them for a quick skill check at best, and then they end up getting sold or traded to npc. How they look, skinny or loose doesn't matter, they do not stay with us for long enough to care.

Coveralls style because I dont want my mom to make me a spandex vault suit for cosplay. Just might be weird.

Well... the "no preference" people can vote with their comments, even though i assigned no option in the poll.

It's looking to me like the people who only like the original Fallout games prefer the spandex and the people who like Fallout 3 and New Vegas dont care.

Aren't there any cosplayers or con attendees on these forums? Fallout is supposed to have pretty good representation in these communities. If you dont speak up were all gonna have to see

I always hang onto my Vault suit... Im forced to abandon it gameplay wise early on but i was hoping to spend more time in it this go around. Part of me wished for armor upgrades to insert padding and plates to raise its value as armor. Nevertheless, i always store it. Also its gonna be all over in screenshots, game covers, trailers, etc. Simply from an aesthetic view i would think people would go one way or the other.

I now have a picture of you, naked, standing over a naked dead raider as his friends walk around the corner. Everyone looks up and stares at each other for a minute, then the raiders slowly backwards the way they came.

Coveralls. I think they a more practical and skin tight is not a good look for the LARGER male if you get my point

Spandex = sixier (usually/depending on the wearer of course).

Don't like the often lumpy look of baggy overalls.

The jumpsuit is usually one of the first things I ditch so I don't really care. I think both look decent.
