Frost gave him a friendly smile "OK. So 'Boss' what do you want me to do?" Frost was hopping up and down, doing some stretches, just overall excited and getting ready.

OCC: Sorry I was gone for awhile, I was at my dads.

"I think the fighting has gone on down there for long enough." Stakes said casually. "Crane, Wilson! You two stay up here with the egghead, begin to engage hostiles on my order. Marshal, Jacobs! You are on me."

Stakes quickly started down the hill followed by his soldiers, towards the chaotic battle by the vault door. A hostile turned at the wrong time and spotted Stakes skidding to cover. He emptied his submachinegun on the rock Stakes was hiding behind, afraid of the arrival of the power armoured adversaries. Stakes peeked out to have a look just in time to see the black clothed enemy thrown to the ground by a plasma bolt.

Stakes flicked on his radio and ordered, "Engage."

Frost ran at the crowd at full speed jumped into one of them smashing his face with Frosts knee. Frost then proceeded to break the knee of another disarm him and shoot him through his left eye with his own gun. Frost continued like this for awhile before running back into cover with Stakes. "Hey, what're you waiting for?" He had a huge grin on his face and a bullet through his left shoulder.

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this (and skip my message if you're continuing a fan fic) but Vault 34 has some aspects you should know about, that will pertain to the realism of your story.

Vault 34 is one of the Vault-Tec Vaults. As part of the Vault Experiment, the armory was overstocked with weapons and ammo and not provided with a lock. The location of this Vault is unknown. It can be assumed that multiple individuals got angry and killed other vault dwellers, then either leaving or killing all of the other vault dwellers.

"Are you alright?" Stakes asked, making a motion with his broken arm towards Frosts shoulder.

He propped his laser rifle on a rock and fired three shots at one of the few remaining mercenaries, the first flew clear however the second and third struck the hostile in the back cutting him down. The enemies facing heavy casualties and fighting on two sides begun to disengage. Some covered others as they ran to better cover away from the vault door, others tried simply running away. Crane was a crack shot and those who ran without cover were mercilessly sniped.

OOC: I think me and you are the only ones keeping this alive, Forcemunkee. We should probably find another RP and let this one die unless people become more active.

Other: Wearing British 98 pattern webbing, holding ammo for all weapons and four grenades attached, there is no number on the back of his jumpsuit. (Ask charac about it and you'll find out why.)

Suddenly a black blob arrives at the top of the cave entrance in the vault, with a sudden sharp movement and a whoosh of light the survivors start dropping like flies, firing away the blob becomes closer and it is visible that it's a man. Once the survivors die, the man reloads and walks towards the others at the vault, he enters the light and he's wearing a vault suit, but it seems to be armoured. "Hi, looks like you guys needed help, I heard you when I was outside scouring the wastes, Oh where are my manners, Josh Shaw, from Vault. And you are?"

Frost looked at Stakes and then at his arm "Oh my. Yeah I'm fine, was wondering why I couldn't move it." Frost began to make makeshift bandages out of his pants that were ripped from the greeves and shoes. After he was bandaged he felt kind of hungry. "Hey Stakes, you got any food?"

OCC: I think you're right p bro. I'll move where you move

(OOC: Aw man, I'm still here guys. Lol was about to meet you two in this entry. If you guys aren't going to leave tell me and I'll come meet you.)

Darren woke in a frenzy. He had just been shot out of his sleep. A talon company merc had made it inside the vault and shot him with a 10mm SMG. Darren quickly rolled over and clutched his burnt shoulder. He didn't know what had happened to Maric but his wound was less painful then it was before. His checked his holster for his Desert Eagle, but then remembered he had dropped it when the grenade fell. He rushed his opponent, suprising him and tackling him to the ground. He knocked the SMG away from the merc and started smashing him with his good hand. The merc quickly recovered and pulled out a combat knife and stabbed towards Darren. Then suddenly a laser beam hit the merc from the back. A vault security officer had shot him on his way past and continued down the hall. Darren picked up the combat knife and SMG and headed out of the vault.

Before Stakes could answer Frost saw a man with a badly burnt shoulder fighting the same guys he was. As soon as he noticed this he rushed out to help the man taking another shot in his already shot arm. He made the guy that shot him pay with a spiked shoe in the knee and another in the face. Frost took care of anyone in his way, not bothering to kill just to disable. When he got to the man he grabbed him with his good arm and said, "Come with me, NOW." And without waiting for a response he ran back to Stakes clearing another path.

OCC: There you go

Stakes opened a pouch on his right leg taking out a dark green foil wrapped energy bar. Before he could offer it Frost ran off moving so fast it was difficult for Stakes' eyes to keep up.

Stakes turned his attention to finishing off the enemies, Stakes stayed where he was and Marshal and Jacobs flanked the hostiles and flushed them from their cover. Crane stayed perched up in the rocks, Wilson came down to help mop up, almost dragging the scientist with him. At least a couple of dozen black clad figures lay scattered around the entrance, Stakes stood up letting his laser rifle hang in front of him.

Frost returned and Stakes handed him the bar. "Bon appetite."

Frost looked at the bar and decided it was the best thing he had ever seen in his entire life. "Thanks Stakes looks delicious." He looked over at the man he had just dragged through the enemy "You OK man? Sorry if I was a little rough." He unwrapped the the bar and devoured it.

Darren: Yeah I'm fine. Thanks for helping me but... whats happening here? Why are you enclave guys here?

Darren (Thinking): This couldn't just be a coincidence could it? There must be something really important in that vault.

Darren: By the way, I don't suppose you guys have any better weapons? All I have is this combat knife and this SMG with 10 rounds. Preferably a normal gun, I don't know [censored] about how to work that Hi-tech stuff. I'm Darren.

Darren leaned against a rock to better balance himself. His shoulder was killing him and he realized he had a new knife wound he must have obtained during his fight with the Merc.

Frost looked at the man then walked over to one of the dead enemy soldiers and grabbed an assault rifle and 3 clips and gave them to Darren. "Well I don't know much of whats going on but I do know that Stakes here should tell us." Frost looked over to where Stakes was sitting and gave him a look that said 'Well? What are you waiting for?'

Stakes walked over to the group of vault dwellers out side the cave. His soldiers spread across the narrow exit, making sure no one escaped. Vault 34 inhabitants were a mess, some were seriously wounded, others weeping over dead sons and husbands and many more were just staring into nowhere, aware that their "adventure" out of the Vault had serious consequences.

Stakes cleared his throat and started. "On behalf of the government of the United States, we will be relocating all inhabitants of Vault 34 to a safe installation under Enclave control."

A murmur went through the crowd, Stakes calmly reached down to his plasma pistol. He was authorised to use lethal force to enforce Enclave will amongst the dwellers. Luckily the battle had seemed to have drained their will and none spoke up.

"Jacobs get on the line, call in the Verti-birds, we have secured the objective."

Frost wasn't to surprised he had expected something like that. "Well Stakes, its been fun but I have to get going now." Frost walked away and went into the vault. Once inside Frost started looking around for anyone that might still be left in the Vault so he could help them. Frost didn't hold any hope of finding people so he went to the armory to look for his little friend....

Darren was suprised. What could the Enclave want with this vault? He saw the man who had helped him over to the enclave base go in the vault, and the Enclave captain was busy with the vault dwellers. Darren started searching the ground where the grenade hit for his Desert Eagle. He found it lying where he fell, it was in poor condition, but he was fairly sure he could fix it using some parts from a 10mm and a 44. Magnum. He picked it up and slipped away from the vault. He was heading to Canterbury Commons, the closest town near this vault.

(OOC: Since the guy who made this thread isn't active on it I'm just going to say the vault is south of Canterbury Commons.)

Shortly six Verti-birds arrived, the inhabitants of vault 34 were loaded on and about another dozen engineers and scientists disembarked.

"Vault should be all clear, just ignore the wastelander let him take what supplies he wants and let him leave. After that close the Vaults doors, as you can see we had heavy contact and their friends might come looking for them." Stakes briefed the main scientist, who nodded back a little uneasily and headed in to the vault with his comrades.

"We don't have enough room Sergeant we'll come back for you." A pilot called out.

"Acknowledged." Stakes called back.

Frost searched for about 15 minutes before he ran into a Scientist, Frost just moved the man to the side and kept searching. He finally came to the armory but it was closed he swore and tried the door, it was unlocked. He went in and saw what he came here for....

Darren was close to Canterbury Commons when he saw a strange lady in an ant suit climbing into a cave with 5 ants in tow.
Thats weird...
Suddenly a molerat jumped out at him from behind! It bit into his burnt shoulder and clawed at his back.

Darren: Jesus Christ!

Darren swung around, flinging the rat off him onto the ground. Darren took out the combat knife he had taken from the Talon Company Merc who tried to kill him and quickly sliced down at the Molerat, cutting it in half.
That was close, I hope I don't see anything else on this trip.
Just as Darren thought that a shot came racing at him, knocking him to the ground. Then something smashed into his head, hard. The last thing he saw before he was knocked out was a super mutant grabbing him and pulling him away.

Much Later

Darren woke up in a daze, his head ached and his shoulder was badly bleeding. He tried to move his arms to stand up but found he couldn't, they were tied behind his back. He looked around and saw a small gang of about 5 super mutants wandering around an old chruch. The walls of the church were scratched and broken, an entire section of the wall had been blown apart, and rotting boards hung from the ceiling. It looked as if the place could come down if anyone attempted a firefight in here.

Super Mutant: Should we eat him now or bring him with us?
Super Mutant Brute: I say we eat now! It been while since we ate.
Super Mutant: What you say leader?
Super Mutant Master: We take with us, maybe he make good super mutant. And if not, we kill him.

Darren looked out the blown up church wall, looking to see if anyone was on the horizan. There was nothing there but dust in and a few mole rats. Judging by his surrounds he though they were Northeast of Canterbury Commons, North of Vault 34.

Dammit! If only I had stayed with the group!

Just then a Super mutant grabbed him and pulled him to his feet. At first he almost fell down but the Super mutant caught him and he regained his balance.

Super Mutant: You lucky, you coming with us.

(OOC: Most of my equipment is in a bag at the church. If someone doesn;t save me soon I might die...)

we ran up the hill into the run down buliding and found a man.

After Frost found what he was looking for he rapped it in some cloth and then made his way back out of the vault. When he was out he decided to head north, he knew of an old church where he could rest or awhile and eat something. He walked there killed a couple of little animals that seemed OK to eat and brought them with him. When he reached the church he noticed something.... green.... a super mutant!! They were huddled around a chair speaking to each other, one moved slightly to reveal.... Darren the man he met at the vault tied up. Frost though the man was nice enough and didn't deserve to die so he pulled out his little friend and charged in.... His "little friend" was a modified ripper blade it was longer, wider and had allot more power. The only things wrong were it didn't last long and it was heavy. He burst through where the door used to be cutting the Brute in half with one cut of his sword using the momentum of the swing to throw it at the Master cutting clean through his chest. He then only had the Regulars he ran up to one that swung at him with an assault rifle, which he ducked and slammed a spiked foot into its face. The other one just ran away. After he made sure it wasn't coming back he untied Darren, "Are you OK?!?"

(OCC: (AGAIN) Sorry vaik7a but I don't think they would run unless you do something to scare them... and please check your spelling and fix some grammatical errors...)

A man, the same one that had helped him at the vault, was suddenly in the broken church. He was hacking up the Super Mutants with a giant ripper. When almost all the super mutants were dead the last of them ran away. The man bent down and untied the rope holding his hand together.

Frost: Are you OK

Darren: Heh not really. All my stuff is in that bag over there. Can you pass it to me, my heads killing me.

Suddenly a man with Enclave armor came up to him. Behind him 3 men followed.

Enclave Leader (Thats you Vaik7a): What happened? Are you okay? Do you know where vault 34 is?

Darren: What? More Enclave, whats so special about that vault 34?

Frost was suddenly in a world of pain he was wondering why and noticed that the ripper had cut off 3 of his left hand fingers. "AAAGGGHHHH!!" he grabbed the nearest cloth and rapped it around his hand. "Urgh... well that's going to get infected..." He looked at the Enclave that just arrived. "Yeah I do, Vault 34 is due south. Why is it so important...?"
