Vendorsmerchantsshops

Hi guys,

Just wondering about selling loot. I have tons of fusion cores and we all know they can be sold for a nice little price if sold in bulk, but every shop keeper or merchant etc I come across only have about 500 caps (more or less). are there any merchants or anything that have more caps as I really need to start selling some loot, as I now want to have the level 4 (I think) shops in my settlements and I need thousands of caps.

Cheers!

Well there are numerous merchants and traders all around the map.

Some places have more than one trader.

If you remember where they are and have the perk to invest in them you can do the rounds and over time you will accumulate ample caps.

If you invest in the trader before you barter with them you are basically giving them some loot that particular day but you can get the caps back straight away.

Next time you visit you have the ability to get more caps from their bigger float.

At Diamond city there are a few stores in one place. 6 in all i think. Or is it 8 including the bars.

Can't remember as i haven't done that sort of thing for such a long time.

Ah right, so really doesn't matter what level you are, or charisma level, the merchants you find in Diamond City and such, never have many caps anyway? Feels like a grind to get these caps for better shops for settlements :brokencomputer:

And sorry for double post but invest in traders. Other than the ones in your own settlements? Or do you mean just barter with the commenwealth traders

With the right perk you can add 500 caps to the float carried by merchants at your settlement and other places around the Commonwealth.

For instance you can add 500 caps to the bunker hill traders float. So when you see trashcan carla over and over you can sell her more stuff.

In this pic you can see the option in the menu at the bottom of the menu of this Wasteland trader who carries larger ammo supplies.

Your own Tier III shops have more caps, but all your own traders (same kind of shops) share the same inventory - same ammount of caps. You may buy ammo and sell stash you don't want to keep. You can also invest and buy your settlers armor and better weapons + ammo. There are perks and skills that raise a trader ammount of stash and caps. You may also buy minerals and metals use in building of your settlements. Someone have pointed out Diamond City as trade hub. You have also 3 caravan traders. There are also other locations, but this is G D forum so I will not say much. Better ask such questions in hints, cheats and spoiler forum.

I have that perk but I had no idea what it really meant, and I have never noticed that 'Invest' option with traders so cheers for that. Gonna have a good look at that tonight, Thanks mate!
