Ok sorry for the tripple post

here is my load order

Used to be over 50 mods. That was a few months ago. I just loaded those all today

Not many, so we should be able to sort you quickly.
If I'd known you had so few I'd have just got you to list them.
First thing to do is download the two Unofficial Patches and have them as your first esp's to load, then move Bloodlines dead last.
I hope that solves it, 'coz I'm totally unfamiliar with your other mods. B)

I'd still advise to add the Unofficial Patches.
As you have so few mods can you try from your last save with just Bloodlines active and see if you still have an issue?

Its not so much as the save as it is the point in the mod where it happens. It is right after i finish the first quest. I re-did the whole thing remember... twice now.

Great to see you still working on this, dtom.

Have any of the resources changed since V5? I have the all-in-one v5 installed and I was wondering if I could just drop the v11 patch over it and be fine, or whether I'd need to download and install the full v8 before patching to v11.

If you already have the update to version 8 you can safley bounce straight to V11.
Using V5 means you'll be missing a couple of resourses as the latest version is only a replacement esp.

I'm getting a constant crash with v10 (no SI) during the first quest. I made my way through the first level of the dungeon with no problems, but after entering the 2nd area, I kill the first

and continue through the cave and once I go past a certain boundary I get a CTD, right away. I even tried tcl'ing east away from the problematic area to where the corridor leads to, hoping to avoid triggering whatever it is that's causing the crash but to no avail. I tried 3 times in a row now with a CTD each time. Here's what windows XP's event viewer has to say:

Faulting application oblivion.exe, version 1.2.0.416, faulting module oblivion.exe, version 1.2.0.416, fault address 0x0007c8f1.

I have this error 5 times in my event log actually

The area "circled" in red was the zone which would crash my computer if I entered past a certain point - what I did was TCL across the path indicated by the red arrow, and managed to avoid the place where I was getting the constant crashes. I was still getting crashes after "avoiding" the crash corridor, but I managed to move forward several feet and could save a few times before getting a crash.

with a bit of time I managed to get out thankfully, no other crashes - I'm hoping they were isolated to this area, since the "old abandoned prison" I entered this area FROM had no issues. I ran the mod through TES4Edit, performing a "clean" operation and also "removing the same records as masters" so hopefully that hasn't broken anything :-/

Am I correct in thinking I can install this mod before I complete the MQ as this sounds a very interesting addition to Oblivion.

The town will be fully functional apart rom the quest line not kicking in until the completion of the MQ.

You'll have the nice little Verona town on the Lake Rumare anyway, at the start of the game. You won't be able to do much there before you complete the MQ, but it's a nice place nonetheless.

Hey Guys,

Is it just me, or is Narissa pulling a fast one on you too? I just confirmed that she is taking full gems from my inventory, but storing empty gems upstair in the Mages Suite. I've been using Azura's Star, so never really checked the Mages Suite inventory, but sure enough....

I'm loving this mod so far, but I ran into a (rather large) glitch - when I was doing the Skingrad part of the quest, Valmar simply vanished. I was supposed to meet him the second time for an update, so I went to the appointed place at the appointed time... and he never showed. I kinda shrugged, went off and did some stuff, and came back later - still not there. At this point I began to suspet he might've been dead, despite being plot (IIRC), so I tried "moveto" on the console - if he were alive, it would've put me beside him, but it said he didn't exist. Since I didn't know how to resurrect him, I had to use the CS to skip ahead to where I didn't need him; problem is, I missed a LOT of the plot. I'm still going ahead with it, but I wanted to know if that's a known glitch, and/or what could have caused it.

Only a little late with an answer, but having played through the mod a number of times I can say that I never ran into any issues.
You did complete the first part of his quest in Skingrad? If not he will not show up to continue the quest.

You have to talk to the woman at the INN again to get the update. You have to go thru all her topics on him

It's very script enhanced, so doing one thing, may set off a daisy change effect.



Code: movetoqt in the console may help you.

The latest issue with BL is bugged 11? 10? S, because DTOM overcleaned it. He went to fix it and his computer completely crashed. He is trying to get back to all of us, but has met more obstacles.

Shikishima has the non bugged verison as did I until my HD failed.

DTOM was simply trying to add a patch to correct some minor issues when his entire HD crashed and he overcleaned the mod.

I'd no idea there had been a problem.

I'm in the last steps of the Mainquest at the moment and will start the VHB quest right after that, hopefully this weekend already. Shall I have the problem with the missing Valmar in Skingrad again (I had it in my last two games too) I'll post it here, ok?


Update: Ok, I finished the MQ today and went over to the Verona Quest. When I came to the second quest (where you have to meet Valmar) something strange happend. I went to the place where I met my first contact. Their was an option 'Valmar sixtius' which gave me a a letter and a quest update. After that there was another option 'Valmar sixtius' where I was told to go and find him. I went to the place mentioned in the letter at the given time - and no Valmar there, just a green marker pointing to exactly that place. Then I left the game and restarted, loaded the old savefile and did exactly the same, met the contact person, got the letter and the order, to 'go and find him. This time, when I arrived at the meeting place, Valmar was there!!! I have made exactly the same as I did before and I have no explanation, why Valmar sometimes is shows up and sometimes not. Sorry that I can not be more of help. At least I can go on now with the quest without setting quest stages as I had to do with my last three games (Valmar had never shown up then...). BTW, I am playing with version 11.0.

Oh well, there is another issue now: I am still in the second quest (Valmar), I spoke to Fante, the guard, and got the key for the dice room from the Innkeeper (it is added to my inventory), but the trapdoor cannot be opened with that key. I get only the message, that the door is locked from inside and that I have to find another way around. Neither 'console unlock' nor 'console movtoqt' does work, so there is no way to go down and play the game...

VHQ002 stage before talking to the Inn Keeper was 60, after getting the key it stays now on 70 (and I can see the key in my inventory).
