On the hill just outside "Cazador Nest" east(ish) of the "El Dorado Gas and Service'" I told Veronica and ED-E to wait cause I wanted to kill by myself. During the fight I noticed she was wandering away, after fight I went to look for her and can't see her. She DOES appear on the Local map and I have stood where she should be.... but can't see her. ED-E is still around. Can't get another companion without dismising her... which can't be done. Last hard save was "50 hours ago"...level 29.

I saw some post about problems with ED-E getting stuck.

See if waiting a week or more resolves it. Companions left in a waiting status will return to their start locations after about an in-game week. Just don't forget to tell them to wait and then follow you again once you re-recruit them, some weird scripting I've noticed where the "wait" command remains in effect.

Took only 5 days, and she still had all the food I gave her to carry for the 10,000 food challenge.
Felling stupid now because I have seen "wait in game X days" and see what happens in these forms.... but we were frantic.. about our loss (me and ED-E)
