Veronica locked in with Silus(?) the Legionnaire is there a

Post » Sat Dec 10, 2011 1:13 pm

When "interrogating" Silus, Veronica followed me in despite the fact i had asked her to wait and when I exited the room the door closed leaving her trapped in there and as she was on wait mode she stayed in there and I cant get her out. There seems to be no key, despite the fact it states there is one, I have tried searching pockets of notable members of staff but no luck, is there any way to get her out as she has lots of my equipment and is handy in a fight?

Sorry to ask something so trivial as I have had crashes and lost a few hours but I thought things were sorted after getting an update and thought fast travelling might resolve things but it hasnt and it would mean losing 5 hours of gameplay. Will save more regularly in future. Its a great game but these sorts of faults can make it very frustrating. Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks

Scott

The undelined words are spoilers. I think (for the 5th time today) this is in the wrong section,

Anyways,
I think you are out of luck, I killed the Lt. and she didn't have the keys, I killed the Col., he didn't have the keys. But, why did you tell Veronica to wait inside an interrogation chamber? :spotted owl: Why?

That is not a spoiler.

At the very most, A Minor one.

So no, This is in the right section.
Also, He said he told her to wait OUTSIDE the room, but she followed him in anyways.

Its still a spoiler, and the rules: DO NOT POST SPOILERS IN THIS SECTION

Anyways,
Oh, yeah, I need to read more carefully next time.

People post minor Spoilers all the time, and if tis a major one late in discussion you use
Spoiler
example
.

You put [spoiler] then [ /spoiler] without the space at the start of the second box.

Have you tried the Vault 22 trick? I've never used it but apparently if you take the elevator in the vault all lost companions will be returned to you.

I was able to enter, exit and re-enter the interrogation room easily enough, even after I extracted info from him. I suppose you're getting a [Locked- Need Key] message when trying to get in?

I think this should work. I got a companion back this way that was told to wait and then disappeared. I went to Vault 22 and used the elevator. Worked like a charm.

I haven't had any issues with companions getting out on their own, just by getting far enough away from the room. Worse case scenario, I exit the building and they're right there with me.

Thanks for the feedback I just went back four hours in the end. Of course Ive had more issues since then, its riddled with them. I didnt expect anything else really as all the Bethesda games have had these problems, but its such a big game that I guess play testing is a massive task.
