[WIPz] T.I.E. Version 1.26. (Actually SIE in its infancy sta

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 8:25 pm

Woot, new post about TIE 1.26 on his http://www.dreamingthepyramid.net/TNR-home.html
He's added in a bit of custom loot, some new types of guards and more npcs " and other introductions and tweaks" and the next update he says is within a week ...."or so." :hehe:

Great news. But what about Sheogorath Immersion Experience?
Veritas is only talking about Cyrodiil but what about the Shivering Isles?

As I gather, TIE 1.26 will partially cover SI as well. If you go back through some of the posts here he explains that SIE and TIE are more or less being merged into one mod.

This release is going to be epic! I mean, a big foaming mug of epic, overflowing with awesomesauce foam! I look forward to the challenges the prison escapes will now provide.

And the fences/impersonators sound really good, too.

:edit: Stupid grammar gnomes, adding S's where they shouldn't be...

I know. It's been a long time since I've played TIE so I decided to start a new game with 1.25 while waiting for 1.26 (I'm assuming it will be compatible) and forgot how hard it is at the beginning - harder than OOO. Fun though, looking forward to the release.

Let's hope it's soon. I tried TIE a year or so ago but ended up returning to OOO. Now I have just started a new character with 1.25 and really like it. I tried to Bash it together with OOO but it didn't work very well so I have uninstalled OOO - never thought I'd do that.

escondido huh? We're practically neighbors.

TIE and OOO won't work well together - very different goals and methods.

I'd like to try TIE with http://waalx.com/RealSwordsForum/index.php which also is unleveled. That could potentially be a great if not very deadly combination.

January 10th, 2010: This is nearly it. We're almost there. One of TIE's contributors and I have just finished making our final adjustments to the file. Now it's in someone else's capable hands for further work. Not sure about when it'll be ready for release (very soon, most likely) but I'll be getting on with the movie making for this version. Wow - Version 1.26 has been an entire year in the making...

That further work is me. Just making sure all the OC/BC/OBC compatibility support is functional, which shouldn't take terribly long. Once that's checked I'll have it back over to Veritas for release. It shouldn't be much longer now :)

That is good to hear Arthmoor! Thanks for the status update and good luck on making your verfications and validations to the 1.26 file.

Hellbishop_ - thank you. I was just sharing what I saw on the website and updated this thread so that folks could be kept informed.

Excellent video Veritas_Secreto. It has a completely natural quality to it where everything comes together as if it was never apart and always a part of original OBLIVION. A miraculous seamless fusion of mod and game. Thank you for sharing with us this magic :foodndrink:

I've notice a compatibility issue between TIE 1.25 and Better cities.
The secret passage entrance, located in the port of Bravil, can not be used (unless using TCL console command, because is inside the port's floor).

Edit: I don't know if this problem occur with Unique landscape Bravil Barrowfields also.

Without giving too much away, that issue in Bravil won't be an issue anymore with 1.26.

Good work and thanks for the new release.
But I'm not sure if I will be jumping on this mod. It's too biased to a certain game play style and don't cooperate with a lot of others mods. What I liked from the video is the personal hired guards, the stealth entrances; however arrow gas, back stabbing kind tools, hidden lock-picks in jail, game settings changes, a lot of roaming NPCs this make me a bit allergic.

This is exactly the use for TIE4mods. It keeps the characters and entrances but takes out all the game setting changes. You can get it at TesNexus.
