So, I was wondering, how many important key commands are there likely to be?

Obviously the standard WASD, fire one, fire two....crouch, jump....

What else is likely. Just thinking about relevant key config for a laptop

fast weapon change , primary gun , secondary , grande , ability 1/2/3 , SMART Button
are important imo , but im a console gamer so dunno lol

Must be some kind of amazing laptop if it'll run Brink.

Also, you can map keys to whatever, so configure it however you want.

I do own a Razer Naga and the Dpi on that is still pretty good despite being an MMO mouse. The 12 side buttons are gunna help a lot if there are a few keybinds. I hate scroll switching so I'm gunna change that if they implement it.

Sprint/SMART, Ability 1-3, Objectives, Score Board, Grenades, Secondary Weapon, Reload, Melee which will probably just be secondary fire

And yeah, the laptop is ok. i7 2630QM running a 460m with 4gig of 1333mghz DDR3. Not ideal, but should suffice

i think i'll bind my melee to V, in cod 5 (i think, the original one w/ zombies) had it defaulted to V and i just became adjusted to that and i switch it to that for every game!
i bet either F or G is for grenade
E's probably use
fire = left click
aim/sights = right click
quick weapon switch = scroll
primary/2ndary weapon = 1/2
abilities 1-3 = probably 3-5
THESE are what i'm expecting :S and the melee key-binding is what i'll make personally lol.

There'll be a developer console key too, as well as menu (and pause). I'll also need to save myself V for Mumble. ^_^

Oh, and yes all the keys are fully mappable at will. That's positively confirmed.

key-binding BETTER be allowed!!! if it's NOT then that's such a FAIL. especially since EVERY (i'm pretty sure EVERY) PC game today allows it!
