why on earth is the pc version so geared to xbox the game controller set up has to be tweaked a bit to much to use a regular pc controller on this game. out of spite i got a ps3 controller working on it since bethesda seems to hate both the pc and ps3 for this game.

Because the game was developed and tested primaraly for XBox, as that is Bethesda's primary platform.


I think the PC controls are fine except for the inverted left click is right hand and vice versa, so i just change that and Im good to go.

Bethesda primarily designs games for use on consoles now.
Morrowind was the last one aimed at the PC.

If Bethesda hated PS3 or PC players they would not publish games on them. But such a question doesn't belong in this section of the forum and is often seen as pitting one platform against another and thus not allowed anywhere due to the problems it causes.
