(PC) UK versions in germany?

I just saw, some player with a UK version of Brink, here in germany have troubles to activate their copie.
So will Steam block UK keys for germans?

my location is greece, i registered on the d2d eu site and i got the NA version and the german, french, italian, spanish version (2 downloads to choose from), still i havnt got my key though and the game is releasing on 3 hours

I've got the US version and it works fine. So I don't see a reason why the UK version could make any trouble.
