Vertibird Carpet bombings

Would it be crossing the line into more of a COD experience to want an Enclave/Vertibird airstrike threat in maybe certain areas of the map? Would this be something you would enjoy? Awesome if we could shoot one down and take prisoners to soak out intel from them (that is the ones who might survive the crash) and find some hidden access codes and/or entry points to hidden bunkers! :ninja:

In fallout 3 we accompanied an iron giant esq robot named liberty prime through downtown dc on a war path vertibirds flying through the skys and explosions happening constenly in nv there was an actual [censored] plane that actually carpet bombed the area ahead of you though like only once. Ya Im pretty sure the end game is going to be epic filled with vertibirds and [censored] epicness I bet at one point with thethe battle at its apex its not even going to look like the apocalypse even happened and will look more like a pre prewar warzone... heavy war machines, power armor and explosions...oh lets not forget the screams...

There is already a handheld weapon that fires mini-nukes and a giant robot that chucked nukes like they were footballs. I don't think this sort of thing is out of the question to Bethesda. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mEizJ-TWua0

I never get tired of that link.

Er, we had that in Fallout 3? And with the apparently more seemless vertibird combat that's featured in Fallout I'm sure its going to make a return.

But in any case, I'll gladly take the opportunity to shoot down the Brotherhood's Vertibirds with prejudice.

I picture it working a bit like the NCR Radio in Vegas. BoS (or whoever) gives us a radio to call in airstrikes. We use radio and Vertibird flies in and drops bombs or mini guns hostiles in the general area.

I started getting Phantom Pain vibes...and how often I'd target an airstrike and the target would move out of the radius...
