Vertibird crashed into Hangmans Alley

Post » Mon Nov 30, 2015 2:47 am

A Vertibird crashed into Hangmans Alley a while ago. I just came back today and found it's still there. I don't really use that settlement, but it's still annoying.

And you are in the wrong section and this is even more annoying because you're destroying a surprise for many other gamers.

I actually think that's pretty awesome. I would totally build a settlement around a crashed one... Military themed bar and all. You are lucky ;)

Ah and every crash site was mentioned in the trailer, too. I totally forgot.

Get a life. It is a bug... It isn't some planned mission to crash there. There is no spoiler here at all

Are you saying that ruining my immersion by putting a constantly burning piece of wreckage that I can't get rid off is an intentional design and that it's supposed to crash there?

I really would like a way to remove things like that. I've got dead bodies all over the Castle and Sanctuary that are just laying there for days now.

.

I just pick up the dead bodies and move them far away. It is a pain though

I see them crashing all the time, all over the map. I`m actually amazed if I see one staying in the sky for more than 5 minutes.

The collision detection is very ropey - seen them hit Pylons and explode and one I travelled in actually flew through the middle of a concrete skyway.

Yeah they make epic explosions :D

its not a crash site, Vertibird pilots dont know when to leave a hot zone and get shot down.

Deactivate unwanted stuff with console.

Open Console -> Click on unwanted item/npc -> type: "deactivate" -> hit enter

I think this should work with the Vetibird too.
